I received an email from Esso (Jim) this morning. He was involved in a very serious car accident last night. It was a head on collision. Jim's car is totaled. He sustained a fractured sternum, lacerated spleen, the doctor's suspect heart damage and internal bleeding. Jim is one of the most unselfish, generous, good hearted men I have ever met. I think the world of him. Please think healing thoughts or prayers of a speedy recovery for him.

Why not? Many countries - even the USA - have defaulted in the past. America, Venezuela, France, Germany are still alive and well. Give default a chance. Remember when bikes were art? None of this Save The Planet crap, no helmets, knee-pads, or smugness. They were just fun. And cool. When did fun cease being cool? When did cool cease being fun? My father went to permanently live on Turtle Island last week. My mother went six weeks before that. Both went in their sleep, both went at home, and my sister found both. My father got five extra years since he had a quintuple bypass, prostate cancer and diabetes. My mother got ten years extra because of breaking her hip twice and smoking for 60 years, so her blood vessels were almost clogged. And I got lots of lots of stuff! My dad's Chevy Lumina, which cost $150 to fix a few problems, his tools, and two suitcases full of various stuff. I wish I had more parents so when they went I'd get their stuff, too!

If you want information beyond that, let me know. The vote here is to decide whether I should leave this forum or not. I'm sick of dealing with two faced people, and government shills.
