Al Beaverda, Terrorist Mastermind

Authorities today said they had arrested two young members of Al Qaeda who had been planning what they claimed was "the worst terror plot we have ever encountered." Arrested at the Mayfield (Ohio) Grammar School were two eight-year-olds, Theodore "Beaver" Cleaver, and Lawrence "Larry" Mondello. Also confiscated were what government authorities said were detailed plans and blueprints to attack the United States with Little Green Army Men ordered from the backs of comic books, Aurora/Revell/Monogram tanks, airplanes, and spaceships, dirt-clod meteorites and what appeared to be an army of highly intelligent and exceptionally unpleasant alien chickens from Venus. ...

Sit Right There and Don't Play

I have only a few memories from kindergarten. One is playing with blocks, which I remembering enjoying, one is launching one of those blocks across the room and hitting a kid in the head and making him cry, and another is lying on a mat and being restless and bored and then getting whacked by our spinster teacher (who clearly, sadistically enjoyed it) with a pointer for not going to sleep while lying on our mats. I remember little from first grade though sixth. I have some memories from sixth grade, though. One is getting rowdy in class when the teacher left and being punished by being made to sit with some other kids in front of the principal’s office for a week. There was also an ...

The World as a Resentful Matriarchy

Let’s do a thought experiment and imagine a world in which women had all the high-paying, high-status jobs and men had all the dirty, dangerous jobs feminists never talk about because they certainly don’t want to do them – coal miner, steel worker, etc. Hannah Rosin, who wrote an article, “The End of Men” and has given speeches about her beliefs (and seems to be quite gleeful about the whole thing), thinks women are taking over all the “better” jobs – lawyers, doctors, veterinarians, etc. Men, of course, would still dominate all those dangerous dirty jobs – firefighter, carpenter, etc. What would happen in such a world? Leftists believe it ...

Without Men, There is No Civilization

In college I walked out of the back door of the house I was living in just in time to see two women put a quart of oil in the engine of the VW convertible Bug one owned. I dashed over, yelling, “STOP!!” “Why?” one asked, confused. “Because that’s the CARBURETOR!!” I yelled. She and her friend had poured the entire quart of oil down the carburetor. I had to take the carburetor off and clean it out. It took a while, but I finally got the car running. After three days. I told them they should give the car to me before they destroyed it completely. They declined. I also knew a woman who, when her car wouldn’t start, hit the battery posts with a ...

Poster Comment:A friend of mine sent me this link. Rosin is of course an ugly Jew, and Jews want to destroy the existing culure. As Camille Paglia so accurately pointed out, if women were charge of civilization we'd still be living in grass huts. I wonder what's going to happen to these woman when they look around and realize there are no men for them?

Turtle's Laws of Political Science

The primary subject of political science is the struggle for political and economic power. Political words cannot be taken at face value. The only permanent war is between the “elites” and the masses. The masses are almost always inert, i.e. sheeple. History and political science is the study of the elites and their relationships with the masses. Politics is based on Force and Fraud. The primary goal of every elite is to maintain its own power and privilege. Two opposing tendencies apply to all elites: to maintain its own power and privilege, and to let in those from below. The second one always wins, which is why no social structure is permanent. A “revolution” ...

People Who Don’t Make Lots of Money Are Worthless Bums Who Should Just Die

Wages stopped going up in the United States in 1973. except for the very wealthy, whose income has been sky-rocketing. They didn’t do it through the free market; they did it through theft. They’ve captured the government, i.e., your typically spineless politician (most of whom are lawyers and therefore lower than child molesters), and have written laws to enrich themselves at the expense of everyone else. In other words, contra the ghey Rush Limbaugh (who used to live on welfare) if a person can’t make a decent living today, it’s not their fault. The fault lies with the government, most especially through crushing taxation and destruction of money through the Federal ...

Wet Hair Thoroughly, Apply Shampoo

I had put one of my electrical outlets to such use for so many years the holes in it became so enlarged the plugs would wobble, causing my stereo or computer to shut off. Finally, I bought a new outlet, pulled the fuse from down in the basement, pulled the old outlet, rewired the new one, put the fuse back in, and hooked everything back up. It works just fine. I can rewire an 110-volt electrical outlet without instructions, but my shampoo says, "Wet hair thoroughly. Apply shampoo to scalp and gently massage into hair to work up a rich lather. Rinse completely. Repeat, if necessary." I guess the manufacturers assume I would sit in the bathtub, staring at the shampoo bottle, ...

Why I Despise Politics

"Nowhere are prejudices more mistaken for truth, passion for reason, and invective for documentation than in politics. This is a realm, peopled only by villains or heroes, in which everything is black or white and gray is a forbidden color." —John Mason Brown, "Through These Men" (1956) People, individually, can be just fine, but in groups—or as I like to call them, herds—are stupid, deluded, infantile, and murderous. And that's a fact. This is nowhere more evident than in politics, which more than anything else is a herd phenomenon. The enormity of these bad qualities is so destructive I wish politics didn't exist. I've met ...

Obama may delay Hawaiian vacation over tax fight

Washington (CNN) -- President Barack Obama is considering at least a short delay to the start of his holiday vacation in Hawaii so he can try to work out a deal with congressional Republicans on the Bush tax cuts that expire December 31, CNN has learned. Two senior administration officials tell CNN the White House has been getting signals that the lame duck session of Congress could drag on past December 18, when the president is scheduled to depart for Hawaii. Obama has privately said he is willing to stay in Washington until Christmas Eve if necessary to finish the contentious debate over taxes, the officials said. While administration officials do not expect that Obama will have to ...

Meaningless High School

When I was in high school my life consisted mainly of four things: high school, family, partying, and science-fiction. The first two were close to meaningless, and the last two meant a lot. In fact, they were pretty much the focus of my high school life. It took me years to figure out what the answer was to that puzzle of why the first two meant so little and the last two so much. I didn't have a bad family life. It was just that, like a lot of kids then and now, family just didn't mean that much (I'm sure I would have realized just how much it meant if I didn't have it). Finally, I realized the answer was pretty simple: it had to do with meaning. The first two had little ...

On a lighter note: 10 Funniest TV Interviews Gone Wrong (vids)

Typical street interview about sex goes hilariously wrong.Note: It was too funny to be true. This video is just a fragment of the Belgian humorous TV-show 'In de gloria'. The set starts falling apart scaring the interviewer. This guy is interviewing a snake expert when all of a sudden a lizard jumps on him. Hilarious. This guy gets really mad because the interviewer kept calling him ‘Chris'. This poor guy had gone for a job interview and got mixed up with the guest! His face at the beginning is hilarious, you can see how he goes from fright to shock to puzzlement to "WTF" and finally decides to just follow along. This guy takes the opportunity that he is ...

An angel came to me and stood by my bedside, Remarking in a professional-historical-economic and irritated voice, "If the Romans had only invented a decent explosion-engine! Not even the best, not even a Ford V-8 But, say, a Model-T or even an early Napier, They'd have built good enough roads for it (they knew how to build roads) From Cape Wrath to Cape St. Vincent, Susa, Babylon and Moscow. And the motorized legions never would have fallen, And Peace, in the shape of a giant eagle, would brood over the entire Western World!" The Worst Prick/Playboy I Ever Met

Back in college I knew a guy who was not a friend, but a friend of a friend. We weren’t enemies but I did not like him, and he didn’t much like me. Since we had a friend in common, we were cordial to each other. This guy was fairly good-looking, so what he would do is target vulnerable women – not very attractive, pudgy, sometimes not all that smart. He’d convince them he wanted a serious relationship with them, have sex with them two or three times, then dump them. I have no idea how many times he did this, but it was a lot. He had what was apparently a permanent leer on his face, which, it appeared, many women could not see. I didn’t like him long before I knew ...

Feminism Born from Boredom, not Oppression
Post Date: 2010-10-19 12:19:40 by Turtle

Feminism was born not of the oppression of women by a non-existent patriarchy, but from the boredom of left-wing women, which they blamed on a quite-real capitalism. It was “capitalism” (in my opinion, misnamed) that freed women from a lifetime of cleaning, sweeping, laundry, sewing, cooking, canning and the rest of the day-long drudgery involved with keeping a home. It also freed them from unwanted, sometimes dangerous and occasionally fatal pregnancies. The fruits of political and economic liberty resulted in the burdensome necessities of life not being eliminated, but greatly eased. After that advancement, with life being so much easier, the next step should be the ...

The Stupid Don’t Know They’re Stupid

One curious thing many people have noticed throughout history is that stupid people do not know they are stupid. Worse, they generally think they’re not only smart, but smarter than other people. It goes with the territory that stupid people are also incompetent, so society is stuck with people who are stupid, don’t know they’re stupid, think they’re smarter than other people, and are incompetent and don’t know it. Arrggh! What a mess! Many of these people end up in prison, but others end up in worse positions – bureaucrats. Intelligence ranges among a bell curve, so since the average IQ of prisoners is 93, a noticeable number of people on the left side of ...

It was a chilly November afternoon. I had just consummated an unusually hearty dinner, of which the dyspeptic truffe formed not the least important item, and was sitting alone in the dining-room with my feet upon the fender and at my elbow a small table which I had rolled up to the fire, and upon which were some apologies for dessert, with some miscellaneous bottles of wine, spirit, and liqueur. In the morning I had been reading Glover's Leonidas, Wilkie's Epigoniad, Lamartine's Pilgrimage, Barlow's Columbiad, Tuckerman's Sicily, and Griswold's Curiosities, I am willing to confess, therefore, that I now felt a little stupid. I made effort to arouse myself by frequent ...

The Guy Who Fell Off of his High Heels.

Early one Friday evening I was heading home in my taxi when I heard from the sidewalk, “Yoo hoo, yoo hoo, taxi!” I looked over and saw heading towards me a rather attractive, six-foot-tall woman, tottering across the street on her high-heels, which she almost fell of off. She was dressed in a tight red dress. She got into the back seat of my taxi, fanned herself with her hand, and exclaimed, “Thank God you were here! Who know what these men out here would do to a poor defenseless woman like me!” The voice sounded like a woman’s…sort of. I turned around and looked….it was a man dressed as a woman. Nice tits. Only they were fake. Hmmm…what with ...

Why the South Was Right, the North Wrong

THE VICTORS WRITE history books, and the dominant accounts of the Civil War reflect the victorious perspective: misguided Southerners sought to destroy democratic governance and preserve slavery. Led by the heroic Abraham Lincoln, Northerners responded by saving the Union and emancipating the slaves. And for leading his moral crusade, Lincoln is America’s greatest president, martyred in his hour of triumph. Charles Adams, best known for his books on taxation, takes aim at this history. His analysis of what more accurately would be called the War of Northern Aggression is a bit different: With the passing of time, all wars seem pointless. The American Civil War certainly looks that ...

CHRISTIANITY, THE BEST DEAL WOMEN EVER HAD

Feminism is certainly one of the worst things that has ever happened to this country. One is tempted to call it the absolute worst, even worse than the century and a half of endless wars we have been tricked into fighting. Yes, those wars were horrors that destroyed many of our best men and saddled with enormous debt those it did not. Lincoln’s Communist War to Destroy the Union killed some 600,000 men, more than we have lost in any other war, raped uncountable women, black and white, and wrecked valuable property. But even those enormous horrors left the foundations intact. Lincoln’s destruction of the union did not seek to change the people. Feminism does. It is even worse a ...
