I received a letter today from CitiBank about the credit card I have with them. It is a Diamond Rewards Preferred Card (the black stealthy looking one) that has a credit ceiling beyond $25K. They have changed their rates on my account from 4.99% to 18.99%. I called their HOTLINE and they say I am an excellent customer with an excellent account with excellent credit and there is nothing they can do about it. That within the current business climate, they MUST remain competitive by extending credit to all customers. Two months ago American Express did the same. I had a telephone convrsation with a friend, and for the past year he has yet to convince his partner of the financial collapse. I won't go futher to prsent an argument, just posting an opservation. So there you have it, direct from the wide world of sports; take the shot and go down sick. When I found out last night I immediately took Temple with 30 points, and I also bet $50 on the under since it looks like the water boy will be the starting quarterback and Temple is one step above high school level. The Kennedy conspiracists have been holding a trial in their heads on going on 50 years, and have accomplished absolutely nothing. If they had any evidence at all (which they do nogt), there would be indictments, convictions, etc. The same will happen to the "Truthers" (sic). They have no evidence, and they never will. There will never be confessions, indictments, and convictions. Never. Yet "Truthers" (sic) will be never give up, to the day they die. In a hundred years they will be forgotten, just the way people have forgotten about the belief it is the Olympic at the bottom of the ocean, not the Titanic.

Fires the 7.62 mm round. First time I fired it, standing, iron sights, I shot the target through the head three times at 100 yards. Oswald was 265 feet away, far less that 100 yards. Pretty easy shot. 7.62 mm bullet.

I stopped by the Humane Society and found the new owners had taken Mickey home two hours after I found he was there. So now he has a pug, a Boston terrier and kids to play with, and a big fenced-in yard. If I had been to the place two hours later I would not seen him at all. The pug rescue has 20 pugs in their little house, all of which need homes. Since Mickey now has a better home than I could give him, I'll get one that needs a home. Some of the dogs have only one eye and many have spend their entire lives in puppy-mill cages. Ten years ago when I first moved to the area, the Dominick's at xx & xx placed men's razor blades in the aisles on display. Today it has to keep them behind the service counter as a shoplifting countermeasure, and we all know why. Even 6 years ago, one did not see young males with baggy pants strolling up and down xxx drive north of Village Hall. This is the worst possible advertisement for visiting potential taxpaying businesses and residents. Building a pedestrian bridge across xxx is a very bad idea as it will encourage more people without cars to take long round-trip walks. If current trends continue, my family may have to relocate to my country of origin, Wisconsin.

Mickey the pug got out the back door for the second time and I have not seen him for three days. The police have no report of a lost pug, not the dog pound, nor the street department. Somebody took him in, I guess. Looks like I lost him. Fortunately, I was not nearly attached to him as I was to Norman, whom I raised from a ten-week-old puppy. Mickey was already seven and only had one eye. Looks like I'll be contacting the Pug Rescue for a third dog.
