Tonight's subject is anti-lock braking systems. Are they truly compatable with anti-locking principals? I think not. I've had ABS lock on me several times, even those from respected Nip tin stampers...It's a flaw in the system itself. No one little brakey elf can wake up when all it's little elf friends are asleep. The Last Shout

It came to me as something of a surprise to learn that the German authorities and their Zionist puppet masters allowed me to remain online until Monday, December 1. So much so, that I could not resist writing one final article, one final shout aimed at the Zionist-Bolshevik takeover of the world we, as children of my generation, once knew as fertile soil for dissent and freedom. America has just elected an avowed Marxist, aligned with the principles of British Fabianism, to be their president for at least the next four years. McCain would have been no different; for the Zionists and the State of Israel, who control America, stacked their cards to ensure for themselves a satisfactory ...

The Power of the Dog -- Rudyard Kipling

There is sorrow enough in the natural way From men and women to fill our day; And when we are certain of sorrow in store, Why do we always arrange for more? Brothers and Sisters, I bid you beware Of giving your heart to a dog to tear. Buy a pup and your money will buy Love unflinching that cannot lie-- Perfect passion and worship fed By a kick in the ribs or a pat on the head. Nevertheless it is hardly fair To risk your heart for a dog to tear. When the fourteen years which Nature permits Are closing in asthma, or tumour, or fits, And the vet's unspoken prescription runs To lethal chambers or loaded guns, Then you will find--it's your own affair-- But...you've ...

Hedge Fund Manager: Goodbye and F---- You

From the Scorched Earth Files: Andrew Lahde, manager of a small California hedge fund, Lahde Capital, burst into the spotlight last year after his one-year-old fund returned 866 percent betting against the subprime collapse. Last month, he did the unthinkable -- he shut things down, claiming dealing with his bank counterparties had become too risky. Today, Lahde passed along his "goodbye" letter, a rollicking missive on everything from greed to economic philosophy. Enjoy. Today I write not to gloat. Given the pain that nearly everyone is experiencing, that would be entirely inappropriate. Nor am I writing to make further predictions, as most of my forecasts in previous letters ...

Was sitting at working today stewing over my 401k losing enough overnight to buy a cheap new car, and enough in the past two weeks to buy a faster car (still new) than I have now. Started wondering if borrowing against said rapidly deflating account to pay off balance of mortgage might be feasible, at least I'd own home outright. I understand all the mainstream arguments for putting money into 401 and not borrowing from it, but the way things are going it looks like my retirement will consist of a raisin and any paperclips I might find. Anyway, borrowing against my 401 also entails paying it back, back into the same hands that lost me a V8 Mustang so very recently, only for them to ...

Paper Money Five men rule the world. None of them holds public office, but they choose who shall hold office in the nations. These five men comprise the apex of the pyramid of power, the World Order. We may ask, Why should there be a World Order? Is it not sufficient to hold absolute power in a single nation, or in a group of nations? The answer is 'No', because of the nature of international travel, international trade, and international finance. International travel requires that a person may travel in peace from one nation to another, without being molested. Excepting cases of anarchy, revolution or war, this requirement can usually be met. International trade requires that ...

Let's buy up all them mortgages, hells yes, and use the IRS to collect! We can pass laws to run the independents out of business faster than you can say Nash Rambler. The prospect alone will cause the little fish to jump out of their skins.I think we, as good patriotic Americans should buy the Washington Redskins for 4 billion dollars, and pass laws against defeating them in the playoffs. Look out, New England, we've already got your number.

As society grows more conscious of animal abuse and neglect, we read nearly every day about a puppymill being closed down and the animals confiscated. Many times these animals are in deplorable physical condition: parasite-ridden, underweight, bred nearly to death. Most have rarely been out of their small, cramped cages. They may have eye infections, missing orbs or vision impairment caused by ammonia from urine-soaked quarters. Some have torn, deformed ears and missing limbs from cage aggression. Females may have hernias from painful, extended labor. Their toes may be splayed from walking on wire floors. Many have tattooed ears. Some have numbers hung around their necks on chains that have ...

The End of History

In less than 40 years a nation built over centuries by one people has been given to another. If you shed a tear when the Titanic went down in Cameron’s film, recognize that the Titanic is allegory for our own catastrophic age. Our age is that of the end of America, Canada, Britain, France, Germany, Spain, Portugal, Italy, Ireland, Sweden, Norway, Denmark, The Netherlands, Belgium, South Africa, Australia, New Zealand, and any other nation you can name in the West. We live among the toppling ruins built of greater men in better times. Isn’t there anything mighty or noble left in us? After all the millennia the West led the Human race, how can we end in such a manner? Like men, ...

Robert McChesney's The Political Economy of Media (Part II) - by Stephen Lendman McChesney's book is a compilation of his best political economy of media work in the past two decades. It contains 23 separate offerings under three topic headings. In them he covers "enduring issues" and "emerging dilemmas." Part I of this review discussed some of them. More follow below. The entire book is must reading and contains new material never before published. The Battle for the US Airwaves, 1928 - 1935 McChesney recounts the beginning. It explains much of the current dilemma and necessity to confront it. The notion that the dominant media system is "natural" ...

Doug Dowd's "At the Cliff's Edge" (Part II) - by Stephen Lendman Dowd's book is an essential text for students and adults. It's a critical review of 500 years of history that brought us to today's unprecendented dangers. Part I covered four and one-half centuries through WW II. Part II continues the story to the present. Part III - Our World Today: Great Possibilities, Worsening Realities - 1950s - 1960s: Monopoly Capitalism, Cold War Compared to what followed, the 1950s (post-Korean War period) were placid by comparison. Things changed: -- 1960 - black student sit-downs began at store counters; civil rights agitation revved up; -- 1961 - Eisenhower warned ...

Doug Dowd's "At the Cliff's Edge" (Part I) - by Stephen Lendman Age age 89, Doug Dowd is a wonder. He's still active, vibrant and thankfully so. He calls himself a "radical economist" in the best sense of the term, and for more than 50 years through the late 1990s, he was a distinguished interdisciplinary professor of economic history and more at Cornell, UC Berkelely and elsewhere. It went along with his activism, progressive thinking, honest concern for the least advantaged, and love of teaching young people. He's no different today, except that he's semi- retired, living full-time in Bolonga, Italy, nearing his 60th year teaching at nearby Modena ...

While in Washington DC for a protest "IMPEACHMENT" rally against Bill Clinton with many Freepers and spearheaded by Rep Bob Barr I spent some time rummaging around the streets of DC. This must have been 97 or maybe 98. What astonished me most of all was the amount of 'hookers'. They were on every corner of every street, all 4 corners. Long legged good looking black hookers. I would say 99% of them were black, but then again most of the residents were black also. I saw a strech black limo round the corner and stop, about 15 ft were on one street and 15 ft were on the other street. Evidently this was someone with money. After the rear door opened I saw a hand stick out of ...
