This was the 5th annual show, it was a winner! Hotter than hell, about 98 F with 55% humidity, but that didn't stop a record turnout. 50th Anniversary (!!!!) 289 FIA Cobra, Viking Blue, it is a head-turner. Must have come too close to cheap furs or something today, but could not resist urge to post this here. Some of you will hate it, a few will sue me, and the majority will ignore this thread and continue to let politicians live. I don't blame you, I don't want to be sent to prison for the perfectly justifiable act of throttling a useless parasite either, so if you have a few minutes please remember to always bring a towel.

After several years of fever for "barn find" cars — those automotive jewels supposedly tucked away for decades in forgotten corners — the bar for an impressive discovery has reached an all-time high. Between the several TV shows and websites devoted to hidden classics, collectors have grown jaded and suspicious of many. Here's one example that's broken through the clamor to capture a growing attention from the ardent fans of late '60s Ford Mustangs. As listed on eBay by a Wisconsin car dealer, this 1969 Ford Mustang Boss 302 was supposedly pulled from a New Hampshire barn after being parked for nearly 40 years. The dealer says he's only the third ...

The co-CEO of Archie Comics' says she couldn’t have discriminated against her underlings - because they’re white men. In papers filed in Westchester Supreme Court, Nancy Silberkleit's lawyer says a gender discrimination lawsuit filed against her earlier this year by a group of Archie Comics employees should be tossed in part because white guys aren’t members of “a protected class.” The embattled co-CEO's filing also mocked the five employees’ claim that she’d used her “gender as a weapon” by yelling “Penis! Penis! Penis!” during a business meeting. “Plaintiffs fail to allege that any such comments were directed at ...

(AP) Before George Harrison died in 2001, the rock icon and former member of the Beatles reportedly saw that his sister, Louise, was given a $2,000 per month pension ― a small sum given his more than $300 million fortune. In an interview with the U.K.'s Daily Mail, Louise Harrison claims that pension ended after her brother died. Now 82, Harrison still works to support herself. However, she isn't upset about the arrangement. She told the Daily Mail, "I was never ...

Many of our brave men and women in uniform carry a motto that they will not leave a man behind. Sadly, in many instances that happens and it’s not because that is what those men want to happen. Such is the story of Special Forces Green Beret Master Sgt. John Hartley Robertson, whose helicopter was shot down over Laos in 1968 on a classified mission. He was declared dead in that same year. A new movie by Emmy-winning Edmonton Filmmaker Michael Jorgensen titled Unclaimed is Robertson’s story. Robertson never forgot that he was a husband, a father and an American soldier who was born in Alabama. However, he did forget English and learned to speak only Vietnamese. Robertson was ...
