Is there any reason you doubt the authenticity? Surely you don't automatically assume Obama wasn't born here, and demand he prove otherwise. Obama has shown more documentation of birth than any POTUS has ever shown.

Until you provide evidence real people are going to dismiss you as leading us on a wild goose chase. And real evidence isn't hearsay from incredible journalists and fake experts. Where is your reasonable suspicion if you will.

The real reason you think he wasn't born here is because you want to believe in a fantasy that he isn't president. He is, deal with it.

from wikipedia:

Stanley Ann Dunham Obama Soetoro (November 29, 1942 – November 7, 1995), mother of Barack Obama, the 44th President of the United States, was an American anthropologist who specialized in rural development.[2] Dunham was born Stanley Ann Dunham and nicknamed Anna,[3][4] later known as Dr. Stanley Ann Dunham Soetoro,[1] and finally Ann Dunham Sutoro.[1] Born in Kansas, Dunham spent her childhood in California, Oklahoma, Texas and Kansas and her teenage years in Mercer Island, Washington, and much of her adult life in Hawaii and Indonesia.

Dunham studied anthropology at the University of Hawaii and the East-West Center. Interested in craftsmanship, weaving and the role of women in rural communities and the marketplace, Dunham's research focused on women's work in Java and blacksmithing in Indonesia. She worked directly with poor craftspeople in rural villages to address the problem of poverty, and she created microcredit programs to service villages as a consultant for the United States Agency for International Development. Dunham was employed by the Ford Foundation in Jakarta and she consulted with the Asian Development Bank in Pakistan. Towards the latter part of her life, she worked with Bank Rakyat Indonesia where she helped apply her research to the largest microfinance program in the world.[5]

In 2007, the FBI reported on concern about white supremacists recruiting soldiers, saying "hundreds" of neo-Nazis were in the active military. But in April, a Department of Homeland Security report on extremism that reiterated much the same point was widely criticized by veterans groups and some conservative politicians as being unpatriotic, leading the Justice Department to retract the DHS report.

Critics acknowledge that extremism in the Army is a touchy political subject.

Obama's Political Heritage - Massacre in Indonesia

This blogger sums it up -

patriotdems.wordpress.com.../24/the-soetoros-and-the- http://">patriotdems.wordpress.com.../24/the-soetoros-and-the- indonesian-massacres-1965-1999/" target="_blank">The Soetoros and the Indonesian Massacres 1965-1999 PatriotDEMs

Quote:

Time magazine described it this way: 60;Communists, Red sympathizers and their families are being massacred by the thousands70;Army units executed thousands after interrogation in remote jails. Armed with wide-blade knives called parangs, Moslem bands crept at night into the homes of Communists, killing entire families, burying the bodies in shallow graves. The murder campaign became so brazen in parts of rural East Java that Moslem bands placed the heads of victims on poles and paraded them through villages70;.Travelers from these areas tell of small rivers and streams that have been literally clogged with bodies, river transportation has at places been seriously impeded.61;

Pretty horrific by any standards, even genocidal ones.

Yet, Ann Dunham Soetoro, according to all of the MSM hype and Obama57;s whitewash of an autobiography, was teaching English as an American Embassy employee while her husband, Lolo, an Army Colonel under the monster Suharto was busy working as an oil company geologist cum government liaison.

Obama's mother Stanley Anne Dunham had a very short relationship with Obama57;s father in the early 1960s and then went to College, first in Washington and then in Hawai. In 1967 she got engaged to Lolo Soetoro, an Indonesian army officer (like herself, a student of Russian in the University of Hawaii) and in 1968 they went to live in Indonesia. There she worked for the US Embassy in Jakarta and for the Ford Foundation in rural parts of East and West Timor. Obama lived there with her from the age of 8-11 and visited her there (and in Pakistan) summers thereafter. He was formally adopted by Lolo Soetoro and has a half sister. The marriage ended by 1970 but she stayed on in Indonesia.

Stanley Anne Dunahm Soetoro (Obama's mother) is portrayed in the media as a free spirit radical with a love for community development. Her work for the Ford Foundation and World Bank is mentioned.

Indonesia in 1968 was going through the later stages of an anti-communist bloodbath. There was a two stage coup (starting 1965) against the joint government of Sukarno and the Communist Party of Indonesia (PKI) : the US Intelligence services trained moslem students and a massacre of officers was staged to incite a bloodbath against the communists. In the initial stage at least 500,000 communist families, men, women and children were butchered by hand and in the following years hundreds of thousands imprisoned and a million or more estimated dead.

Sukarno's progressive regime that had kept Indonesia's oil and other natural hands out of the control on the multi national corporations was ended and an auction similar to the one last week in Iraq took place. A military regime of extraordinary brutality was installed. Slave labour was common in rural areas.

The horrific events and American role is described here:

Stanley Anne Dunham-Soetoro57;s worked at first for the US embassy in Jakarta and then for the Ford Foundation/USAID. Her work is described glowingly, without mention of massacres, here

Quote:

Dunham57;s research and consulting work took her around the world. She became a consultant for the United States Agency for International Development on setting up village credit programs, then a Ford Foundation program officer in Jakarta championing women57;s issues, and later in 1986 she served in Pakistan as a consultant to the Asian Development Bank focusing on women's welfare. In 1988, she joined Bank Rakyat Indonesia, Indonesia57;s oldest bank, and helped develop the world57;s largest sustainable microfinance program, creating services like credit and savings for the poor, which enabled people from rural areas to engage in cottage industries and emerge from poverty. As a pioneer in the field of microfinance, her anthropological research helped shape the policies set by the Bank. At present the Bank57;s microfinance program is the world leader in terms of savers, with an average of 31 million members, according to MIX (Microfinance Information eXchange Inc.)

Quote:

American sociologist James Petras describes how progressive non-government organizations can be neutralized, if not coopted, thru US government, big business-backed funding agencies or CIA fronts and conduits masquerading as foundations. The purpose, according to Petras, is "to mystify and deflect discontent away from direct attacks on the corporate/banking power structure and profits toward local micro- projects ...that avoids class analysis of imperialism and capitalist exploitation."

Neo-liberalism today, according to Petras, encourages NGOs to "emphasize projects, not movements; they 'mobilize' people to produce at the margins, not to struggle to control the means of production and wealth; they focus on the technical financial aspects of projects not on structural conditions that shape the everyday lives of people."

While using the language of the Left such as "people empowerment," "gender equality," "sustainable development" etc., these NGOs funded by USAID, the National Endowment for Democracy (NED), Asia Foundation, etc. have become linked to a framework of collaboration with donors and even with government agencies with whom they have partnerships that subordinate activity to nonconfrontational politics, rather than militant mass mobilization. (Petras, 1999)

It must be emphasized that the US places high premium on the ideological legitimation of its continuing neo-colonial domination over the Philipines and, as such, depends heavily on US-financed and US-sponsored institutions, especially on the ideological front. Thus, grants are generously poured in by such agencies like USAID, NED, Asia Foundation and the big business-sponsored Ford Foundation.

Training of students like Lolo Soetoro was a plank of the US / CIA strategy for bringing Indonesia under control. The Ford Foundation is named as the main Non-governmental funding agency involved.

Obama described his mother in Dreams of My Father (one of very few references to her)

"The poverty, the corruption, the constant scramble for security . . . remained all around me and bred a relentless skepticism. My mother's confidence in needlepoint virtues depended on a faith I didn't possess. . . . In a land where fatalism remained a necessary tool for enduring hard-ship . . . she was a lonely witness for secular humanism, a soldier for New Deal, Peace Corps, position-paper liberalism."

The voters chose to vote for a candidate who wasn't forthcoming. What's so unusual about that?

I never saw a push from the GOP or any party either concerning his BC during what seemed like the longest election season of my lifetime. It was brought up a couple of times in cursory fashion, usually with the qualification that this was a gentleman's election and neither of the main candidates were going to unearth the sordid details of each others pasts. And for insurance the GOP dangled a cutsy bimbopoo VP candidate for the party faithful to drool over. All thought of vetting Obama seemed to stop AT THAT POINT..

Hmmmmm he was gearing up to push amnesty IIRC but then in what will be a few days he got his 911 and then the Patriot Act and that vaunted DHS you love so much.

If Bush was a dope and traitor, 0bama is a Dope x10 and Traitor x100.

Or do you consider 0bama a "American Patriot"?

rstly, it can't help but be noticed that some posters (like YOU and IDTS) find it necessary to defend the so-called "honor" of the Socialist-in-Chief and his fascist hijacking of the US Government. Why is that?

Please post a link to where I defend Obamer's honor. You really need to stop your delusional pathology here.

One thing I do notice is that you trolls never comment on the offending parties and their antics. I guess that paycheck must come in handy in your old age.

No other officer holder has such a questionable background, but hey, start a crusade.

LOL...

Whatchoo talkin' about Willis? 0bama's background is TOTALLY "transparent." Bwaahaa!

It is truly amazing to watch supporters of a man who refuses to divulge so much much as an iota of personal documentation....accept as "credentials" an empty slate of documentation, but what's the big deal? It's only about controlling and dictating their lives. No biggie.

Shirley, you jest. Funny. Hah-ha!

Can you ever defend 0bama on his own merit (of lack of) without mentioning Bush?

Never mind.

Just your opinion at this point and nothing more... I will admit he has the potential but I'm waiting for the link to my comment ..... certainly an "astute" poster such as yourself had a particular comment in mind instead of your usual distraction.

All you GOPbots have proven lately is that you can lie and spin. And not perform due deligence before the election.

I never saw a push from the GOP or any party either concerning his BC during what seemed like the longest election season of my lifetime.

You seem painfully unable to discern between "GOP," and "conservative" and their respective beliefs. I realize that you are totally oblivious that the RNC has been at odds with conservatives...

And for insurance the GOP dangled a cutsy bimbopoo VP candidate for the party faithful to drool over. All thought of vetting Obama seemed to stop AT THAT POINT.

Lame diversion, but shall we expect anymore of a shill? We understand. ANYTHING that helps detract from the elephant in the room that is 0'BOMBA is helpful to your cause.

Btw, have you noticed that "cutsy bimbopoo" has now positioned herself to absolutely HAMMER your guy 0bama with impunity? That you continue to obsess and kvetch over Palin makes her even more scrumptious - Better put some ice on that.

The voters chose to vote for a candidate who wasn't forthcoming. What's so unusual about that?

Not much, but why would anyone concerned with our nation not encourage a full investigation of HIS background, however belated?

What's the point when it uses up all the energy needed to clean the GOP house and either gets us Biden or opens the possibility of Obama choosing his own successor. Has anyone here ever thought this through?

Care to show me where I've done that, or are you just talking out of your ass like JT is?

If you can't back up what you just claimed, then stop pinging me to your crap postings.

Fund works for the WSJ and ghostwrites books for conservatives on the side.

That's just a fact, not "evidence".

It simply shows he has a particular point of view, just like almost everyone does.

These were questions posed to in response to your "ghost-writer" criticism as it related to Rush Limbaugh.

Now...WERE there errors of fact by Fund?

F-whatever has always played fast and loose with the facts. It's the thrill of the chase it craves, being accurate isn't even in it's top ten.

Quit spinning IDTS's statement. IDTS said nothing derogatory about Fund, merely stated an accurate, verifiable fact. You should try stating accurate facts. It doesn't hurt and you may come to even like it.
