Our "former" poster, Destro has made threats against LP.
He is unhappy that this website allows Free Speech, and that we are not groveling at the new Fuhrer's feet.
I'm reminded of the quote from Sam Adams:

If ye love wealth greater than liberty, the tranquility of servitude greater than the animating contest for freedom, go home from us in peace. We seek not your counsel, nor your arms. Crouch down and lick the hand that feeds you; May your chains set lightly upon you, and may posterity forget that ye were our countrymen. In his spite and anger, he wants retribution on LP for being FREE, and operating under the First Amendment which guarantees Free Speech.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------- First: Our previous poster has stated we are calling for Right Wing violence.
No one has made any threats of violence against anyone in public office. In fact, as appalled as we are over the infringements being made on our Constitution, we have only called for our Tea Party friends to protest louder.
To prevent violence I've asked for people to stand guard, unarmed, to protect a man who has been shot at by left wing radicals; Lou Dobbs.
Second:
As citizens, it is our DUTY and RESPONSIBILITY to ensure that our elected officials operate within the bounds of the Constitution. We do that by watching them. By questioning their actions, and making those actions public for commentary to ensure that they represent us.
If they do not, we are obligated to vote them out of office. THAT is removal.
If they commit high crimes and misdemeanors, they are called out for Impeachment and Removal.
If they are not eligible to hold the office, there is not reason why they can't be escorted out by the Secret Service as a trespasser.
NONE of those actions is physically threatening to anyone. Not one bit of violence is stated or condoned.
THAT is our system.
We operate within it.

Third:
It is the policy of this website that any threats of violence to a specific person are removed, and the person banned.
It is our understanding that the Federal Government is watching over comments made on the Internet, and will act on any threats made. One made in jest years ago got a visit from the Govt within the hour of the comment (which was removed).
Fourth, and finally:
A clear obvious "Threat" has been made against this website's viability.
Everyone here who has posted or who has donated funds is a part owner in the viability of something we have all created and participated in. Everyone of us has shared their intelligence, and thereby invested in the stored words posted here.
If this threat is carried out, I intend to institute a lawsuit against him and whoever is behind him. I will ask for a VERY large sum of money, sue him with libel, and ask for monetary damages for all of us. I would like to know who would be a part of that lawsuit against him.
This is not a game.
Our nation is sinking rapidly into socialism, and soon into communism.
Millions of our best and brightest have given their lives so that we could be free, so we could talk freely.
We cannot take this lightly. Free Speech is under attack from those who are currently in power. There hve been threats against Rush, Michael Savage, Lou Dobbs, Talk Radio, the Internet, various websites. And now LP.
EVERYTHING is at stake today in America.
Everything.

Over there you rarely know who has been banned let alone what they did to get the boot. It's really the bs banning criteria that I object to. In a case like this one, she will post a thread for discussion, but usually it's a back door boot with no attention drawn to it because the banning criteria is hypocritical.
One would think, promoting free speech, that the offending posts would stand.

She must be hysterical. You can't 'sue' a screen name for libel, and her own archives would destroy her case.
Even stupid doesn't cover this kind of delusion, so one must logically conclude that she's mentally deranged at this point. That's the only thing that explains all the observations.
As for the library filters, I don't get that either. Anyone can report any website for anything they find offensive or questionable, and the local library systems can act accordingly as to whether to filter or not.
As it stands right now, I can't see how the site would pass a keyword filter.
As an aside, it's hilarious to watch Liberator try to simultaneously suck up to Goldi and bite the hand that feeds him. It's difficult to do, and he's doing it so poorly.
