Why would Americans give a rat's @$$ about Yemen? I don't believe they are "our friends." Governments aren't friends with people--even our own government is not our friend. Sometimes governments have similar interests and can work together for that reason but anyone who mistakes any of that for friendship needs some lessons in reality.

He gave himself away there. Who other than a neocon like Ben Stein would refer to Yemen as our "friend?" Shish! Yemen is a destination for Saudi rebel-terrorists. Saudi Arabia has been shelling northern Yemen for months and it looks like Saudi Arabia will get its butt whipped. Then a couple of days ago a drugged out dazed turrist wannabe, possessing a very sophisticated chemical [ say Al CIAa anyone?] is taken into custody and confesses he got the stuff from AQ in Yemen.
