Americans Not Fooled by Obama's Israel Stance
Matt Towery
Friday, June 11, 2010

I'm going to exercise a new freedom with polling. I'm going to take advantage of my experience with a nonpartisan polling firm to ask Americans some hard-hitting questions that can't in fairness be asked by that nonpartisan firm.

So today I'm introducing the first "Towery Poll" of national issues. That means I don't have to worry if some Democratic polling expert likes it or not!

Towery Poll questions will never consist of loaded questions. They will be fair, and the answers will be accurate. What those answers say about America and its politics may sometimes be hard for some to take. So it goes.

The inaugural Towery Poll asked 738 registered voters nationwide about the Obama administration's views and policies regarding Israel. Do Americans believe the White House's foreign policy towards Israel is consistent with that of recent U.S. presidents, or is it either more or less supportive of this traditional American ally?

Forty-four percent of the respondents said it is "less supportive." Twelve percent said "more supportive." Twenty-nine percent said it's "about the same." The rest had no opinion.

A large plurality of Americans senses that the Barack Obama White House doesn't have the same reflexive sympathy and support for Israel that previous administrations have displayed. It would certainly be understandable if the poll's respondents are perplexed on the subject, particularly after the recent news about longtime White House correspondent Helen Thomas. The legendary Thomas abruptly retired June 7 after the outcry that followed her comments that Israel's Jews should quit occupying land not rightfully theirs and go back to their historical homes in Poland and Germany. Wow, those European countries are sure to flood the hearts of Jewish men and women with nostalgia!

Over 55 percent of voters who identify themselves as "independents" said they don't think the Obama administration has particularly warm feelings towards Israel. That virtually matches the percentage of Republicans who feel the same way.

Only Democrats feel Israel is in good shape with the president and the current American foreign policy establishment. Forty percent of Democrats in the poll said things are about the same between the U.S. and Israel under Obama. Another 12 percent said the president treats Israel better than recent presidents have.

These numbers simply validate what many diplomats, pundits and analysts are thinking -- that Israel does not have a great friend in Barack Obama.

This makes things even more precarious than usual for the embattled nation of Israel. That nation is under extreme international pressure to lift its (legal) blockade of Gaza. Enforcement of that blockade recently resulted in the deaths of nine people on board a ship that purposely violated the blockade.

Some news accounts of the incident reported that the blockade-busting ship had a crew of nothing but humanitarians who only wanted to bring relief supplies to the suffering people of Gaza. Subsequent revelations have cast that view in doubt. The debate continues, and investigations are underway.

Regardless, is it not reasonable to ask President Obama to cast his gaze back through history and consider when another president used a blockade -- and was prepared to use deadly force to maintain it?

In 1962, offensive nuclear weapons were being installed in Cuba by the Soviet Union. President John Kennedy and his advisors decided to create a naval blockade around Cuba to protect against the continued installation of those weapons.

Israel's blockade is designed to end the continued importation of weapons for use by terrorists against Israel. There's little doubt the Gaza blockade has been bloodier than Kennedy's was. But no one could have known that in 1962, when many feared Kennedy's audacity would trigger a nuclear war with the Soviet Union.

Israel's position is straightforward: They are the victims of sustained terrorist acts, such as the bombarding of their homeland with missiles. These acts are made possible, at least in part, by the arming of terrorists through Gaza. Thus, the Israelis do what they can to protect their citizenry.

Peace in the Middle East is ever-elusive and staggeringly complex. Jimmy Carter thought he had opened the door to a permanent peace in the region in the 1970s. Now he is one of Israel's biggest critics, and the conflict smolders on.

Whatever happened during the Israeli clash with the ship trying to breach the Gaza blockade, the fact is that a plurality of Americans believes Obama isn't likely to have Israel's back when conflicts like this arrive.

More importantly, the critical swing vote that supported him in 2008 -- independent voters -- overwhelmingly view the president as no friend to Israel.

Does that really shock anyone? No. Polls often confirm what our gut already tells us.

It's a charade. He's acting the agent provocateur to "justify" the "wrath of God" [brought to us by "The City" of London Banksters et al] on America for not being a friend to "God's chosen".

[I've been connecting a few dots this morning.]

I have so many windows, I am getting them all confused.

Basically the story is this:

The Jews realized America was the New Jerusalem [and they probably realized it was intended for Christians], and so, being the murderers and thieves some of them are, worked to make us appear to be BABYLON, so that they could destroy us and blame it on God. [The Ultimate Deception and False Flag (Rev. 20:7-9).] You have to read these....it's too much to post:

It's a bit long, so if you don't want to read the whole thing, scroll down to the Phoenix picture, and start reading from there [BE SURE TO READ THE PART ABOUT THE OIL IN THE GULF, AND HALLIBURTON....IT'S ALL STARTING TO MAKE SENSE]:

DEATH OF THE PHOENIX: FINAL ACT FOR THE USA

http://watch.pair.com/death-phoenix.html

[no....let me post that part:

".... At all costs the Zionists must prevent discovery of the ugly truth about the phony “war on terrorism” and the “weather terrorism” program they have unleashed against the U.S. One reason the Zionists will now trash the United States as we know it is BIG OIL. For the Halliburton Company, which was awarded the no-bid contract to reconstruct New Orleans, is the largest oilfield services company in the world. And there are vast oil reserves in Texas, Louisiana, Mississippi, the Eastern Gulf of Mexico, Iraq, Iran, as well as the Central Asian Republics which will be transported to Israel through the Afghanistan pipeline, now under construction by the US military. There are also enormous oil deposits in the western USA which are being explored by Eden Energy Corp as a partner in the Noah Project, one of the world’s premier oil exploration ventures in an area which has recently been assessed by geologists and geophysicists as having billions of barrels of oil recoverable:

“The Noah project is located in the Cretaceous Sevier thrust belt, which is part of the western North American Cordillera which extends from Alaska to Mexico. Where over-thrust folding and source rock coincide, this belt holds some of North America’s most productive oil and gas fields. Over-thrust structures such as these are estimated to hold a quarter of the world’s oil in such areas as the Canadian foothills, Wyoming, Iran, Iraq and the North Slope... Eden’s Noah Project is located in the Diamond Mountain Range in north-central Nevada, USA.”

With ownership and control of the world’s oil, Israel will possess the means to manipulate and subjugate the economies of the nations. Scripture in fact states that, as the global economy is collapsing during the Tribulation period, at least two commodities will be protected by those who are wreaking death and destruction on the earth:

“And when he had opened the third seal, I heard the third beast say, Come and see. And I beheld, and lo a black horse; and he that sat on him had a pair of balances in his hand... And I heard a voice in the midst of the four beasts say, A measure of wheat for a penny, and three measures of barley for a penny; and see thou hurt not the oil and the wine.” – Rev. 6:5-6....."]

Has Obama called for the "nationalization" of the oil companies yet? Oh, wait, I think you'all said Rosie O'Donnell did.

FWIW, I do not believe the Great Tribulation is for us; I believe it was speaking to the first century church. I think that is part of the deception.

I have to go find an article on the OIL SPILL.....

The relationship between morality and liberty is a directly proportional one.

"You've got to put right and wrong above legal and illegal. Because when tyranny becomes law, rebellion becomes duty; and it is not rebellion at all, it is submission to the higher law that our government is in rebellion to. We're not the rebels, they're the rebels."

There is however, no doubt in my mind that Ezekiel 38-39/Rev. 20:7-9 is for us. I keep hoping it's spiritual, but it doesn't look like "they" will let it go at that.

Right. Matthew 13 and Luke 13 point to America...two nations struggling to be born. Keep preaching the gospel...maybe we can help point a few more to salvation.

Isaiah 9:6-7

Galatians 3:16-29.

Americans Not Fooled by Obama's Israel Stance

True. Despite public mouthings - there has been no protest over the brutal Israeli Murder Op aboard vessels carrying only humanitarian supplies. Supplies which Israel has been depriving the general population of Palestine/Gaza of through their illegal under international law (as stated by the U.N.) blockade. If one looks at the list of basic necessities halted to the area under the false pretext of depriving Hamas, the legally elected government which USrael does not like, of war materials such as Soda Pop. Potato Chips, Candy, Toys, Toothpaste, building materials to rebuild the homes destroyed by the last major Israeli Murder Op (Cast Lead), and on and on. It becomes clear from the list of materials prohibited that the intent is to drive the Palestinians out of their homes so that Israel can avoid the inconvenience of having to murder them individually. Oh'bummer despite the double shuffle with a half twist has done nothing whatsoever in terms of humanitarian support or relief to Palestine/Gaza and has dutifully, puppet that he is, fallen in with the Israeli propaganda barrage as Israel has come to recognize that they are suffering from a self inflicted wound.

What the general public thinks, given that the information they receive is heavily filtered and slanted to the benefit of Israeli propaganda (such as this article), is relevant only to the extent that despite the heavy propaganda and psyop barrage people are still not entirely buying the excuses and mea culpas.

That this is most likely a planted piece is evidenced in a couple of ways:

Lies i.e., "This makes things even more precarious than usual for the embattled nation of Israel. That nation is under extreme international pressure to lift its (legal) blockade of Gaza. ..."

This contains actually both a lie and the use of Loaded Words. Israel's blockade is in violation of the 4th Geneva Conventions (obligations of an occupying power) and the U.N. has stated unequivocally that it is a violation of international law. Loaded words come in the form of "This makes things even more precarious than usual for the embattled nation of Israel." Which is used to play the "poor little Israel card" - when they are the most heavily armed and militarized nation in the Middle East. Any "embattlement" of Israel is a created event - both intentionally and by their inhuman actions toward others.

Here we get the Helen Thomas card:

As usual taking out of context what she actually said and the context in which it was said to distort it for the most heinous meaning i.e., to play on emotions and unwholesome images. When an honest reading of what she said in context was that the Israeli Squatters and their Military Thugs should get out of other people's lands and stop trying to steal it while criminalizing resistance to their criminality.

Notice here the repetition of one of the Propaganda lines the Israelis have been trying to play, got caught on and were forced to withdraw, while never acknowledging that the Israeli propaganda has already been disproven:

Some news accounts of the incident reported that the blockade-busting ship had a crew of nothing but humanitarians who only wanted to bring relief supplies to the suffering people of Gaza. Subsequent revelations have cast that view in doubt. The debate continues, and investigations are underway.

The device used here is to plant the idea without ever stating one of the disproved falsehoods supporting the propaganda. It relies for its effect on the fact that the U.S., Zionist Controlled, Major Media will not report anything other than the Israeli propaganda line and will not correct the record when the propaganda is forced to be withdrawn even by overwhelming levels of proof.

Once one suffers through the slanted rhetoric of the article all one is left with, objectively, is the impression that Israel is still running scared because their actions have now exposed them fully as the little Nazi State they are. (I can use loaded words too.)
