NPR was up in arms a while back about Croatia's dozen or so presidential-security bureaucracies. But how much have they questioned the 1271 government-security bureaucracies in America?

Private contractors are like a sieve.

Glomar Explorer was the most egregious example.

Howard Hughes under contract to CIA to refit the Explorer for salvaging a Russian submarine, days after all technical plans were finalized and committed to paper, a copy of the entire scheme was delivered to the Russian embassy in Washington.

Top secret was the lowest clearance of any of the material.

Then they turn around and insist that everyone needs to be honest when it comes to firm resources. Yeah, sure.

Imagine having to insist on honesty. I wonder why they thought their employees might be dishonest. LOL!
