I bet you were not on the list of approved journalists. They can't have the vice President of the USA being asked questions that might reveal him to be a total moron. Free press in America is only a slogan, it is not a reality.
Biden actually has a good demeanor even if it's abrasive, and he's done well in front of Jan Helfeld. I think Biden would have done fine if I'd been allowed close enough to question him.
