It won't, the system only cares when one of it's own becomes a casualty. They then use that event to try to take away more of our rights.

If this guy had whacked the judge then doused himself, he would have been front page, nationally. As it stands, he didn't make my local paper.

E.g., the guy that flew a plane into the IRS building in Texas last year. Though I don't quite recall his name.

I believe his name was Joe (or Joseph) Stack.

edited to add this:

It is rare indeed when suicide accomplishes its intended result. How many people have ever heard of Terence MacSwiney or remember the name of Bobby Sands? They both fasted to the death and I doubt there is one person in one hundred thousand who even remember Bobby Sands and his fast to the death was not all that long ago (1981).

MacSwiney died after seventy three days of fasting (in 1920) and Bobby Sands made it sixty six days.

good info.ive read various forum discussions on this & many point out that real men do not fill w/ self pity & rob kids of their father in an insane gruesome act.Of course the system's corrupt. But it sad that so many laud this awful impotent response.

Yes. I don't think the man was a hero for taking his own life and depriving his child (ren) of their dad. Children are impressionable and they always wonder about things they really had no control over and think it is their fault. That's a big load to put on a child.
