The relationship between morality and liberty is a directly proportional one.

"Only a virtuous people are capable of freedom. As nations become corrupt and vicious, they have more need of masters." ~ Ben Franklin

"For my part, whatever anguish of spirit it may cost, I am willing to know the whole truth, to know the worst, and to provide for it.” ~ Patrick Henry

No, honest question.

After the shyte that the Nips have been through this year, good on the girls.

And bad on US, if our gals flubbed-up.

I watched the first half and a few minutes of the second half. The US seemed to dominate on offense but couldn't put one in the nets. There were more than a few close shots, especially that one that was 4 inches too high and hit the bottom half off the goal cross-bar. I forgot to tune back in when I returned home from my Sunday lunch engagement.
