He didn't say facial expressions. He said expressions of emotion which is something a bit different. I think the title on the youtube clip miss characterizes to a degree that comes off as unfair and makes whoever posted and titled the clip as dishonest.

He may well be a crummy judge. I don't know, but he didn't ban "facial expressions".

1) The exact quote is posted in the video descrip; he says "any" form of emotional expression is banned. Read it. Or post it, if you want to do some of my work for me.

2) After observing this judge, do you really believe a person could sit in the audience their with their mouth wide open, and not be kicked out?

my impression is that the judge meant audible expression of emotion.

From Don D's wall post concerning budget initiatives: "... and we must rebuild our infrastructure, especially the roads and bridges. The American people are gonna need a place to live under...and jump off of."

This is his quote as accurately reported in the description:

"If there are audible comments, applause or ANY EXPRESSION OF EMOTION by people in attendance...they will be removed."

2) After observing this judge, do you really believe a person could sit in the audience their with their mouth wide open, and not be kicked out?

If I were a betting man, then based on what was presented in the clip I'd bet that yes, one could do that without getting removed, provided one did not make any noise sufficient to attract attention. "Audible comments or applause" both involved sounds and that seems to be the context of the "expression of emotion".

I've seen one rogue judge in person that would yell at defendants that dared to actually say anything in the courtroom, demanding that his attorney do all talking on his behalf so I've seen one judge deserving of a hanging first hand. So I'd say if the above quote is the worst side of this judge, then sorry, but this judge just ain't bad.

My 2c.
