Most people in the West believe that Moammar Gaddafi is "the evil dictator of Libya." Unfortunately what a lot of people know just ain't so. The Secretary General of the State/Country of Libya, the man who actually does have some power, is not Gaddafi. Gaddafi has no official authority in Libya! He has an honorary title as "the father of the revolution" and is also called "the leader of the revolution." Of course he has influence in Libya as anyone with such a status and reverence would have. But by no technical or logical definiton can he be described as a dictator.

This is the answer to who is the Secretary General of Libya (and no, he isn't a dictator either). His name is Baghad Mahmud. Now with just this little bit of information you know more about Libya than all the "news readers" and talking heads on the hallucination box.

I got my information from Yes, I’m saying that it’s all lies. It is a VERY LONG ARTICLE and this is just a little bit of what it contains. If you want to know more about Libya and why it has been proven once again that the truth is the first casualty of war you should read it.

The relationship between morality and liberty is a directly proportional one.

Why are rebels in Iraq called insurgents, but insurgents in Libya called rebels?

Because one of them is Eurasia and the other is Eastasia? I don't know, I get confused.

Sounds right. I read a while ago Gaddafi wanted to direct all oil revenues to citizens on the presumption that individuals would know best how to spend the money but the proposal was squashed by the ruling council.

"Evil dictator" is Mossad propaganda to sidetrack Gaddafi for his efforts to bring about a return to Palestinians of lands stolen by Israeli terrorists. The politicians of the West depending on "Jew" money and media for success in elections all jumped on an anti-Gaddafi bandwagon to ensure that Organized Jewry's support in elections continues. That's my best guess for the current history and rationale of events in Libya and not much different for what has gone on in Afghanistan and Iraq.
