without looking any further than this trailer, I think I'ld like to spend a week with a group of folks who can think so well, just to be in the vibe *s

the ET slant bugs me a little but I do believe the free-energy concept is sound, all the energy we could ever want or need is all around us now, no metering, no limit ... it's a lil scary to think what the boys in DC could do with such power ... I think that if our governments knew how to tap this energy, it would be weaponized long before it was admitted/offered to the common folk ....

my dream is that an obscure idealist somewhere in the world will figure it out then make it viral online before anyone can shut him down ...

Seems like it would be a fascinating movie. Will it be released in theaters, on TV, or just on the net?

I thought so too FL! Well, er, I don't actually know the answer to your question. However, it IS an excellent question. : )

I found this from the movie website: The Thrive Premiere Gathering at the Craneway Pavilion

On November 11, 2011 THRIVE will be released worldwide on the Internet and have its debut screening at the beautiful Craneway Pavilion on the San Francisco Bay.

It'd be good if they could get it into movie theaters first, but something is better than nothing...

Must not be "Hollywood Approved".

Tesla did it (not on-line of course) and we all know how it ended for him.

Gee, I can't fathom why that would be the case. : )

true, but what is different now is the tools we have (internet) and a basic education level that would allow more 'common folk' to snap to his ideas ...

admitedly, I am an optomist, will be till this body drops ...

if by some weird stroke of mystery one of us comes up with a solid working concept, it can be released viral to the world in 24 hours ... being worked on by basement inventors and shade tree mechanics world-wide the next day ... no putting that rabbit back in the hat ...
