Maybe I'm hopelessly sentimental.
Please set aside your opinions on 9-11 and politics for 4 minutes.
Regardless of what you think about 9-11, our political class, and wars, a lot of innocent people died that day and afterward. A lot of familys were ripped apart, or otherwise affected, because of what happened that day. It's effects rippled through our society and the world.

For the next 3:46, listen to this song. Listen to the whole thing.
Thanks.

I've long had an un-answered question about 911: What was the Ethnicity Breakdown of the Towers' victims?

Simple question that should have appeared somewhere.

lots of jews, but only one israeli... at least judging from this CNN database, and the list of names... lots of jewish-sounding names, but they were all americans... expendable.

Thanks. One Israeli is interesting, based on the matter of the "Dancing Israelis" item.

Seems like the Motto of Mossad covers it.

My Dad and his Dad were both career firefighters in Indianapolis, Indiana. I always got my hair cut by a fireman named Bubbie Smith and afterwards ran and jumped to the pole sliding down to the first floor. I loved the firehouse and the firemen. They were a close knit bunch of Irish Catholics (for the most part) that spit in fear's face on a regular basis without any fanfare.

My dad (retired as a captain) and grand dad (Died 1958 at the age of 58) while still the Chief of the entire Indianapolis Fire Dept. Both of these men as well as their fellow fire fighters are actually heroes, not silver spoon fed pussies like George W. Bush, and any one of these common sense guys would have made a better leader for our country than the last 10 we've had.

I cried out loud immediately upon witnessing the collapse of the first building, real tears of sadness for the families of the dead first reponders because I knew that it had to be the same family type of organization wherein all fire fighters are kin.

The real perpetrators of 9-11 must be caught, tried, and hung. Bombing "random" oil targets for the Energy Companies is bullshit. I think that Old Man Bush was deeply involved in every tragic event from Kennedy's murder through to and including 9-11. It looks like that old cocksucker is going to die before the opportunity to hang him presents itself. Hopefully his bastard sons won't be so lucky. (Don't forget Jeb's rush to declare martial law in Florida "before" 9- 11).

Firemen appear to be the most average guys in the world until they put on that helmet and waterproof gear - at that point they shed all fear and willingly dare the forces wasting buildings filled with flammables and explosives to save lives, and even pets.

Personally I have a very soft spot in my heart for firemen ! God bless them all !

Side Note: My dad knew that I had rejected the system a very long time ago but waited until shortly before his death to tell me that my grandfather, The Chief Of the CITY OF INDIANAPOLIS FIRE DEPARTMENT, until 1958 NEVER HAD A SOCIALIST SECURITY CARD OR NUMBER even though he was working for a Municipal CORPORATION long after the Socialist Security Act was implemented. He refused to be a socialist - and I guess that I'm a chip off of the old block.
