The vast majority of Americans are outraged at the recent accusations of child rape by a former member of the football coaching staff at Penn State University and the seeming cover-up by the university’s president and legendary head football coach. At the same time, a small, radical organization, B4U-ACT, is lobbying under the radar to convince the American Psychiatric Association (APA) - publisher of the bible for identifying abnormal behaviors, the Diagnostic&StatisticalManualofMental Disorders (DSM) -to declare that pedophilia should not be included in the list of abnormal behaviors.

Members of the APA need to listen to the public outcry and disregard members of B4U-ACT. Raping a child, sexually exploiting a child, destroying a child’s innocence, and psychologically and physically damaging a child are abhorrent crimes. Media coverage has downplayed the physical trauma abused children often suffer from sexual assaults. Contrary to the views of some on the radical fringe, the criminal is not the victim; nor is that person to be protected and the crime covered up while the abused and sexually exploited children are left to suffer the consequences and later, endure the years of psychological rehabilitation that is required before they can be restored to normality.

B4U-ACT is a small group of mental health professionals and pedophile activists who seek greater tolerance for “minor-attracted persons” (pedophiles). Indeed, those involved in the lobbying want to decriminalize, even normalize, pedophilia. They are working to change public perceptions so that raping children is acceptable behavior. Among the academics lending respectability to these efforts by speaking at the recent conference in Baltimore were researchers from Harvard University, Johns Hopkins University and the universities of Louisville and Illinois. The fringe activists promise to disrupt future meetings of the APA until they are successful in normalizing pedophilia, a strategy successfully employed in the 1970s to get homosexuality removed from the DSM - not because of new scientific evidence, but because of political pressure by a small group of activists. For instance, in 1990, the JournalofHomosexuality published a special double issue devoted to adult-child sex, calling it “male intergenerational intimacy.”

All of this reminds me of Daniel Patrick Moynihan’s warnings about “defining deviancy down” and cultural disintegration. I paraphrase his advice this way: Win the battles over language and you win the culture war.

Now the pedophilia activists are flexing their political muscles and with some success, changing the culture through changing the language of social science and medical terminology. To be released in 2013, the DSM proposes subtle yet significant revisions to its featured section on “paraphilic” disorders. The term “paraphilia” encompasses a wide range of aberrant sexual urges and behaviors, including but not limited to pedophilia, exhibitionism, fetishism, sexual sadism and masochism. In every version of the DSM, such forms of sexual deviance have been classified as paraphilic disorders. But now, radical fringe groups with a bully pulpit are arguing that people with “atypical, culturally forbidden or religiously proscribed sexual interests” should not be labeled ill, and they are putting tremendous pressure on the APA to comply.

The proposed changes to the DSM paraphilia section seek to make a distinction between “paraphilias” and “paraphilic disorders,” and in order to meet the criteria for the disorder, the person who is “minor-attracted” must experience significant “distress or impairment” or cause “harm to others.” So, essentially, a grown man who engages in sex with a consenting 12-year-old and sleeps soundly at night does not have a disorder. Pedophilia is only a problem when it falls within certain narrowly specified criminal categories.

We’ve all heard the nonsensical expression, “I’m just a little pregnant.” Now it seems one can be “just a little pedophilic.” As part of the paraphilia changes, the “pedophilia” subgroup will be given a new name: “pedohebephilic disorder.” In order to qualify, one must experience sexual stimulation from at least two prepubescent children - or at least three children, if one is pubescent. All this must take place for at least a period of six months and must involve the repeated use of porn.

Under such conditions, a person who molests the same child for years - exclusively - is not a pedophile. A person who sexually assaults different children for less than half a year is nota pedophile. Clearly, as Allan Bloom and Gertrude Himmelfarb said, “Sturdy virtues are being diluted into shallow values.”

Surely, the skeptic in all of us wants to cry out, “This can never happen. Pedophilia can never be normalized.” After all, it doesn’t take a medical or theological degree to know that child rape is wrong. But as David Brooks noted in a NewYorkTimes column, “Morality was once revealed, inherited and shared, but now it’s thought of as something that emerges in the privacy of your own heart.”

Due to our human sensitivities and American values of fairness and equality, our nation has been duped into accepting the unacceptable, all because the lies have been packaged for us so nicely. We were told that morality is relative and that right and wrong are simply cultural preferences. We were told that adhering to an absolute truth that judges between good and evil is narrow-minded. We were told we needed to alter our language to become more politically correct - that pedophiles are simply “minor-attracted persons” who are the victims of societal stigma, bigotry and intolerance. We are told that our children are sexual from birth and have the capacity to be willing participants in intercourse from their infancy.

The time has come when we can no longer casually dismiss fringe radicals as irrelevant. Instead, we must take seriously those who want to steer our nation into a moral morass. We are not powerless; we can serve as watchdogs, monitoring institutions such as the APA and keeping them accountable. If we’ve learned nothing else from the Jerry Sandusky scandal, we have learned that pedophilia involves real people, and little children are the victims when a trusted adult perpetrator exploits their innocence and takes sexual advantage of their trust.

I've been aware of it for some time. It has been a slow process of trying to "normalize" it as "acceptable". Saturday Night Live did a skit on it years ago. I think that was what got me looking more at the issue (I had just read an article which they more or less based the skit on).

However, yes, it is sickening.

for sure, watch these b4u-childrape folks with a big stick in your hand.

DEAR GOD. i feel dirty just living amongst some of the things we call people; breathing the same air and who knows what else. we had a pedorasto scuz bag down here start to focus in on our children. lots of them and little children.

i could expound - let's just say this crap literally mortifies me.

Did you hear the interview with Sandusky. They asked him point blank if he was sexually attracted to young boys. There was a huge pause before he said no. I don't know any real men who would have to think about their answer to that question. HELL NO would be an automatic response.

I would probably be angered at the question were it asked in seriousness. I would respond civilly but I find the practice so sick and repellent that it would definitely get an immediate "response" without weasel wording. A MAN does not harm, hurt, or abuse children (no matter how much some of the little bastards ask for it). It is a MAN's duty to protect children.

Seeing that prompted me to dig a little deeper. Anything written by them is suspect. That is putting it mildly.

The kids playing for PSU were in the 2nd grade w/Sandusky last coached here. What have they to do with this mess?

BTW, of all the nations you could have fled to, why Panama?

Panama is a source, transit, and destination country for women and children subjected to trafficking in persons, specifically forced prostitution. Although some Panamanian women and girls are found in forced prostitution in other countries in Latin America and in Europe, most Panamanian trafficking victims are exploited within the country. Although statistics were lacking, both NGOs and government officials anecdotally reported that commercial sexual exploitation of children was greater in rural areas and in the city of Colon than in Panama City. NGOs report that some Panamanian children, mostly young girls, are subjected to involuntary domestic servitude. Most foreign sex trafficking victims are adult women from Colombia, the Dominican Republic, and neighboring Central American countries; some victims migrate voluntarily to Panama to work but are subsequently forced into prostitution. Weak controls along Panama’s borders make the nation an easy transit point for irregular migrants, from Latin America, East Africa, and Asia, some of who may fall victim to human trafficking.[1]

As I said nearly one month ago, had this happened at NYU, rather than PSU, my guess is it would have hardly been a blip on the national radar screen. This given the decades of multiculturalism and culture of deviant acceptance NYC has embraced. Also, since B4U-ACT is a Maryland based organization, would it be fair to connect the residents of MD to them in any way?

The problem is that agencies such as PA child services specifically ruled at the time that sanudsky showering with kids is normal (NY Times) but yet these same sick agencies deem spanking kids as "abuse". Theyve got to go.

The problem with State agencies for "child protection" is that they are corrupt. We can look at the one in Florida where thousands of kids literally disappeared. In Texas the administrators of the Juvenile Detention system were having sex parties with the boys. Interesting side note that many of these large scale operations are run by closet Homos. And the PC Liberals have a cow because the Boy Scouts will not allow Homo adult leaders.

The Oregon State Child Protective Services (CPS) changed its name because it was found that they were placing children in the homes of known sex offenders.

The common thread among all of these is that they have been pushed by Federal action and money AND organized Psychiatry and Psychology dominate their administration. There again we find the Psych connection. I would rather risk a Roman Catholic Priest in charge, since the vast majority are decent, than a Psych.

I am not indicting the entire population of the state of Pennsylvanian nor even all of those associated with Pe** State. What I have been incensed over, and that should have long since become clear, is the culture of worship around Pe** State Fu'boll which has sought to protect the guilty. Had they come forward and screamed loudly the abuse would have ceased long ago, and it would have been recognized as the sick aberration it was. Instead the attempt was made to sweep it under the carpet and protect the guilty because it would have been still a major scandal, but which has now been made ten times worse and is tainting everyone associated with the school. That may not be fair but it is the way it is.

What makes it more troubling, and I know you do not want to look at this, is the tentacles reaching back to the Second (s)Mile Foundation and its suspected/apparent links back to high level well connected peds. Like the Franklin Scandal we have here an apparent iceberg of high level pedophelia with young boys being fed on by well connected pervs who were willing to "pay to play". Then we throw into the mix the fact that the crime is so repugnant that people who worship at the altar of Pe** State Fu'Boll do not want to see it, and resent and attack not the peds but the people pointing out that the peds exist. You don't treat a deep set rot by daubing it with a cotton ball dipped in whitewash. The appropriate heads need to be firmly planted atop a row of pikes. Seeking to deny, and cover-up does not solve this very sick problem. It requires people who have the moral courage to take responsibility for it or it remains a festering sore. You don't solve problems by avoiding responsibility and refusing to look.

With a few notable exceptions among the loyalists its value is now somewhere south of zero - and heading further south. It has now become synonymous with pedophelia covered up and is likely to remain that way for some time. The complete failure, and lack, of real moral courage has come around and the bill is due, and it is going to be a very large bill.

There isn't a soul in this town who doesn't want the exact same thing as you, believe it or not. I said as much in the first post I made regarding this mess. Why this was brushed under the rug is now a matter of (4) four investigative bodies, none of which is chaired by ESPN. I've done my very best to remain focused on what is fact while shucking off the conspiratorial absurdity that is a large part of a very few. When the smoke clears on all this, the answers will be available for all and I can guarantee you neither the Illuminati or Masons will have played a role. That to the chagrin of some. Now that the whore media has left town, life is returning back to it’s winter slumber. That as it should. After all, one degenerate and a clique of academic elites, (to date), shouldn't be allowed to destroy even the good. If that was the rational response, even your OSU Beavers would have been taken down by the following: OSU researcher charged with viewing child porn" or even more distantly, George Hastings George Hastings (top row, left) and the 1910 football team at Oregon Agricultural College (former name of Oregon State University) as pictured in "The 1912 Orange" yearbook, p. 159. espn.go.com/blog/bigten/p...e-mans-penn-state-protest

STATE COLLEGE, Pa. -- With a thick piece of black duct tape covering the Penn State logo on his baseball cap and a pair of signs criticizing the university, Jon Matko knew he wasn’t going to make many friends at Beaver Stadium on Saturday. But he didn’t care.

The 2000 Penn State graduate and father of a 4-year-old boy said he felt he had to do something to remind Nittany Lions fans about the victims in the school’s sexual abuse scandal. So while kids posed for pictures next to the Joe Paterno statue and others chanted, “We Are” before Saturday’s game, Matko stood on a street just outside the stadium quietly holding his signs and accepting the abuse that came with it.

"I know these people better than they know themselves," he said. " I used to be one of them. I was brainwashed, too. Ten years ago I probably would have thought somebody holding a sign like this was a fool. But I’ve grown up. I have a family now. I don’t subscribe to this any longer. Instead, I think it's important to stand up for what you believe. And I believe this university needs to start doing the right thing." ...

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

"I've done my very best to remain focused on what is fact while shucking off the conspiratorial absurdity that is a large part of a very few. When the smoke clears on all this, the answers will be available for all and I can guarantee you neither the Illuminati or Masons will have played a role."

And you know that how?

What has surfaced is the allegation that Sandusky was pimping off young boys to donors. Nowhere have I ever mentioned that this was an Illuminati or Masonic operation. What I have said is wealthy and well connected. I did point out, in detail, which you chose to ignore on the thread christine deleted was a body of evidence strongly suggesting the existence of high level pedophile rings e.g., the Dutroux Affair. Whether those wealthy and well connected have other connections or involvements is not clearly in evidence. Although "The Second Mile" does appear to be a Masonic reference. However, that could also be coincidence, but it is a datum.

As for George Hastings consorting with adult homos that has a bearing on this specific case in what way? As a diversion?

And I do not endorse child porn or its sick pervert consumers in any way, shape, or form. To so use a child is despicable. If you are trying to establish some sort of justification for the Pe** State cover-up of Sandusky's molestation of young boys a lone sicko does not ring the chimes. Is that sicko also charged with raping young boys? In any event I do not excuse it and it in no way diminishes OSU because a perv was caught and prosecuted. They show up in many unlikely places. What distinguishes the Pe** State Scandal is the LONG TERM cover-up by high ranking people in the school who sought to bury the abuse along with the victims.

What has surfaced is the allegation that Sandusky was pimping off young boys to donors

Allegations? Oh yeah, lot's of those. What I've been asking for is some evidence. I think it's a reasonable request before the tin foil hats come out.

SHOCKING PENN STATE RUMOR: Jerry Sandusky 'Pimped Out Young Boys To Rich Donors'

Sportswriter Mark Madden went on WEEI in Boston and reported a rumor that alleged child molester Jerry Sandusky would pimp out boys to rich donors.

"I hear a rumor that there will be a shocking development from the Second Miles Foundation ... That Jerry Sandusky and Second Mile were pimping out young boys to rich donors."

Madden claims it's being investigated by "two prominent columnists."

We'd say this is ridiculous, and that you should take it with a grain of salt. But Madden actually wrote about Sandusky for the Beaver County Times six months ago — long before the scandal blindsided everyone else this week.

Madden also claimed Sandusky was forced out of Penn State in 1999.

"I think you'll find out that Jerry Sandusky was told he had to retire in exchange for a cover up."

Sandusky retired at 55 in 1999, a year after Pennsylvania police investigated (but did not prosecute) him for allegedly molesting a boy.

Again, label this under "RUMOR." But Madden has been out in front of this story before, so stay tuned.

Penn State Scandal: Rumor Claims Sandusky “Pimped Out” Boys to Rich Donors

By Zac Wassink

Just when you thought the Penn State child sex-abuse scandal couldn't possibly get any worse, we may have just scratched the surface. Joe Paterno being fired could be just the start of arguably the biggest downfall in the history of college athletics.

Pittsburgh radio personality Mark Madden, who penned a column for the Beaver County Times back in April of this year named "Sandusky a State secret," a column which foreshadowed the recent scandal which has absolutely gutted those of us in the Penn State family, was a guest on the Dennis & Callahan Morning Show on WEEI sports talk radio out of Boston on Thursday morning. During his appearance, Madden, who has been mostly right regarding this issue from the very start, dropped what can only be called a bombshell, an announcement which could mean far more than the end of Joe Paterno's career.

Madden stated that two "prominent columnists" are currently investigating a rumor that Jerry Sandusky's Second Mile Foundation, a non-profit organization aimed to serve underprivileged youths, was "pimping out young boys to rich (Penn State) donors." Madden went on to say that Jerry Sandusky was told by those running the show at Penn State football that Sandusky had to retire after allegations made in 1998 that the defensive coordinator was guilty of "improper conduct with an underage male." Sandusky, thought by some to be Joe Paterno's successor at the time, abruptly and somewhat shockingly retired from coaching in 1999.

It actually gets worse. Madden went on to say "When Sandusky quit, everybody knew; not just at Penn State. It was a very poorly kept secret around college football, in general. That is why he never coached in college football again and retired at the relatively young age of 55, young for a coach." Madden also called the Second Mile Foundation "the perfect cover" for Sandusky's scheme.

I want to be absolutely clear about a few things. These reports, as of the writing of this piece, are coming only from Mark Madden, and they are currently only rumors and speculation. With that said, Mark Madden has been mostly correct about a grand jury investigation which was sealed until very recently. I'm not suggesting that I 100 percent believe Madden to be correct. I'm certainly not ignoring a word he's saying regarding the Sandusky case at this point.

Late Wednesday evening after Joe Paterno was fired by Penn State, an "in the know" individual told me that this story was going to get uglier, and that there were, at the very least, "dozens of more victims." My absolute worst fear regarding the issue is what Mark Madden spoke on Thursday morning. It's been widely reported that the US Department of Education is currently investigating Penn State. Are they going to find that Jerry Sandusky was running a multimillion-dollar criminal organization, one which resulted in dozens, possibly hundreds (or even more), of youths being sexually abused? Will they find that higher-ups at Penn State, including now former football coach Joe Paterno, covered-up Sandusky's heinous crimes? All I know this morning is that, after the worst week of my Penn State life, I don't know if anything would shock me.

Yes, I'm aware. These reports came out on 11/10/11, at the height of the onslaught. Let's see where it leads.

Let's see where it leads.

That's where I am. I just don't want to see it covered up because there are "too big to fall" peds orchestrating a cover-up. I have seen that happen in these Ped scandals before - the big fish find a patsy to be the fallped and then control the investigation to ensure that it catches "the right fish". That is why I was so concerned when they brought in the former head of the corrupt FBI - Louis Freeh. That signalled to me that the cover up was going in. Now, whether he is able to contain it remains to be seen.

I agree about Freeh, and that Corbett was gleeful over the hire bears watching. That's why this article is important, IMO. It's about the incestuous relationship between Penn State's administration, Trustees, large donors to the University and Second Mile, Second Mile Board members and Second Mile leadership. President Spanier (where has he been?) didn't want the news to come out because he didn't want some of his largest donors to be dragged through sAndusky's second mile mud. Does it make more sense that he was worried about the reputations of large psu donors in the midst of a 1.3 Billion fundraising effort or the reputation of a retired assistant football coach. I'll keep following the money, it's usually dead on.

Interesting read thanks for the link. One must also wonder what other "considerations" were involved. At least some of the board had to be aware of the 1998 "situation" therefore they were at least tacitly involved in the cover-up by remaining silent. No wonder references to the "Second (s)Mile" have been pulled off of web sites.

Certainly the money angle would appear to be an important avenue for exploration. However, if one or more of these big money donors shared Sandusky's taste in boys then it is likely that Sandusky shared a taste. It would seem to me that this situation is exposing a lot of rot that was hidden under the surface. I'm sure the school will be better for its exposure in the long run, but it will be a rocky road getting to the "long run".

True, the '98 incident was the one Gricar dismissed after it was investigated by the campus PD. Paterno fired him in '99, and never went to his retirement party. Despite the serious allegations, Spanier gave Sandusky professor emeritus status, an office, and full access to campus. The connection bet. Spanier and Sandusky might be the Rosetta Stone, or at least a good starting place.
