One of the new alleged victims in the sexual harassment case against former Penn State assistant football coach Jerry Sandusky told a grand jury that Sandusky's wife ignored his screams for help while Sandusky raped him in the basement of their home.

The young man, identified in the new complaint as Victim No. 9, who is now 18 years old, said in his testimony that Sandusky attempted to rape him at least 16 times, sometimes successfully.
"I took it at first he was just a nice guy, like he went to church every weekend, his kids come over every once in a while and stuff," the young man testified. "And after a while, like, he got used to me and stuff and started getting further and further wanting — to touch feely."
The presentment says the contacts eventually "escalated to sexual assaults."
The testimony is revealed in a new grand jury presentment that the Pennsylvania attorney's general office released after Sandusky was arrested Wednesday on new charges of sexual abuse of two more young men.
The five-page presentment gives numerous graphic details of the alleged assaults on Victims 9 and 10, including allegations that Sandusky forced Victim No. 10 to perform oral sex on him.

Sadly, from my reading, that appears not uncommon I guess it is some sort of variation on "The Stockholm Sydrome" where the victim begins to identify with the abuser or think that somehow they are at fault because of the abuser's actions.
Hard to say. I'd have to read the deposition.

On a bright Sandusky note, both were refused service at the local Applebee's. His wife bitched to management, and management stood behind the waiter. They left. Also, the gym they used for years booted them. It's hunting season up here. Hopefully they'll do the right thing.

farmfriend, i picked up on the same things. i didn't understand it either. first i wondered at the boys' parents that they'd let their kids spend the night at an adult man's house. how clueless - or CAREless can a parent get.
O_I, I was HOPING you could put a name on the reason a kid would go BACK to a situation like that...it's quite mind-boggling.
I read the deposition...I didn't get any clues from it. I'm sure the defense will play it up, though. And of course, it's always possible these last two are not telling the truth, I suppose.

My reasoning was actually simple. He was at best semi-hidden and relying on his connections to remain unprosecuted. He also appears to have done this quite frequently. That combined with my reading of her face said that there was very little likelihood that she did not know. We may at some point find that she had her own amusements as well. It was like the Basketball Ped - his wife had an affair with at least one of his young victims when the boy was 18.

I didn't either. I have no doubt he is telling the truth but I have questions. I can see mom glad that this well known authority figure was helping her kid. No mother wants to believe that someone like this has evil intent. And the kid was getting gifts etc. There is also the idea that the body reacts in ways we may not want. Why does the abused wife go back? It happens. But I still am curious.

The possibility exists that the boy initially enjoyed the attention - likely being fatherless he had no father and Peds like Sandusky will groom their victims over time accustoming them to attention and sensual stroking. So, the boy may have felt guilty and blamed himself - his own secret shame that he initially enjoyed the physical attention not recognizing that he was being trained for more advanced activities. So, he felt guilt and shame and so did not come forward, did not know what to do, and could not find a way out. Pedophiles like Sandusky can be very covert until they can no longer contain their unnatural desires and then the victim really suffers.

when it came to my kids i was paranoid to the utmost...my youngest used to tell us how we "ruined her life" because we wouldn't let her sleep over ANYWHERE....too bad...at least we knew she wasn't being assaulted.

I was similar but took a different direction. When the boys were learning their body parts I always said and these are your private parts and nobody touches your privates. And I also warned them that anyone wanting to wrongly would lie to them and not to believe them. Someone touches you and you don't like it YOU TELL! There is also a couple of really well done videos through the Boy Scouts, one directed at preteens and one for teens called A Time To Tell.

Based on "your" above statement, I'd have to say you support the incarceration of americans if the president simply says they are terrorists. You probably support their asassination as well if the president wants to murder them. The reason I have you pegged is because I got to talk with a retired Pennsylvania Policeman this evening and asked him point blank what kind of powers do campus police have. His reply, "The same as any boro policeman, state cop, or any bonified LEO, state or federal". He is of the opinion that Joe Paterno did all that he could and it wouldn't matter what branch of law enforcement he would have gone to, PSU has special legislation on their side under Pennsylvania Law that they controlled this when Paterno told them what McQueary claimed he witnessed. Furthermore, PSU will use this special legislation to coverup, control anything they don't want known,and will probably escape any fruther guilt.
So, now we know you like to be the judge, jury, and exicutioner and have convicted Paterno in your personal kangaroo court. Obama would love to have you on his team!

That does appear to be what is happening - all of the press coverage is focusing on the "rabbit" while the other hand is busy hiding the elephant. Sandusky is being waved around to draw attention while the cover is pulled over the big money well connected peds.

To arrive in a cell he would first have to be convicted in court. Your tirade, sadly not unexpected, continues to sidestep the mountain of circumstantial evidence that Sandusky's predation on young boys was known, and covered up, and Paterno was party to the cover-up - little boys who were sacrificed on the altar of "the winningest coach in history" whose name is no longer on the championship trophy. I suspect I am not the only person who is willing to look at the reality pointed to by the evidence.

My son said the same thing!
He said that his little friends told him that we homeschooled him so he couldn't attend driver ed and get a license at 16 just to "ruin his life!"
It never occurred to him that none of his little friends had cars or licenses, but they were brutalized by nig....I mean, African Americans all during their public school years and they were jealous of my homeschooled kids.
My son was simply too immature and subject to peer pressure to drive at 16 anyway. If anything we saved his life.

I can't say about any calls but it just seems to permeate the establishment. And, the Masons I know don't immediately go on the defensive after the expose of The Royal Order Of Jesters' financial and sexual misconduct.
