One of the new alleged victims in the sexual harassment case against former Penn State assistant football coach Jerry Sandusky told a grand jury that Sandusky's wife ignored his screams for help while Sandusky raped him in the basement of their home.

The young man, identified in the new complaint as Victim No. 9, who is now 18 years old, said in his testimony that Sandusky attempted to rape him at least 16 times, sometimes successfully.
"I took it at first he was just a nice guy, like he went to church every weekend, his kids come over every once in a while and stuff," the young man testified. "And after a while, like, he got used to me and stuff and started getting further and further wanting — to touch feely."
The presentment says the contacts eventually "escalated to sexual assaults."
The testimony is revealed in a new grand jury presentment that the Pennsylvania attorney's general office released after Sandusky was arrested Wednesday on new charges of sexual abuse of two more young men.
The five-page presentment gives numerous graphic details of the alleged assaults on Victims 9 and 10, including allegations that Sandusky forced Victim No. 10 to perform oral sex on him.

Sadly, from my reading, that appears not uncommon I guess it is some sort of variation on "The Stockholm Sydrome" where the victim begins to identify with the abuser or think that somehow they are at fault because of the abuser's actions.
Hard to say. I'd have to read the deposition.

farmfriend, i picked up on the same things. i didn't understand it either. first i wondered at the boys' parents that they'd let their kids spend the night at an adult man's house. how clueless - or CAREless can a parent get.
O_I, I was HOPING you could put a name on the reason a kid would go BACK to a situation like that...it's quite mind-boggling.
I read the deposition...I didn't get any clues from it. I'm sure the defense will play it up, though. And of course, it's always possible these last two are not telling the truth, I suppose.

The possibility exists that the boy initially enjoyed the attention - likely being fatherless he had no father and Peds like Sandusky will groom their victims over time accustoming them to attention and sensual stroking. So, the boy may have felt guilty and blamed himself - his own secret shame that he initially enjoyed the physical attention not recognizing that he was being trained for more advanced activities. So, he felt guilt and shame and so did not come forward, did not know what to do, and could not find a way out. Pedophiles like Sandusky can be very covert until they can no longer contain their unnatural desires and then the victim really suffers.

That does appear to be what is happening - all of the press coverage is focusing on the "rabbit" while the other hand is busy hiding the elephant. Sandusky is being waved around to draw attention while the cover is pulled over the big money well connected peds.
