Hitler did a lot for Germany, but the worst thing he did was to ban private ownership of firearms, handguns in particular.
Now, in Switzerland, each and every able bodied man was allowed to own a rifle and was trained how to use it. This was a major factor in keeping the Swiss "neutral" during the war.

What do you mean? Of course the Swiss are allowed to own firearms. This was the one thing which kept the Swiss out of WWII.
