Kurt Nimmo Appearing on the Alex Jones Show today, investigative journalist Wayne Madsen said accused shooter James Holmes had a number of links to U.S. government-funded research centers, including the Defense Advance Research Projects Agency, or DARPA. James Holmes was one of six recipients of a National Institutes of Health Neuroscience Training Grant at the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus in Denver, Madsen writes for the Wayne Madsen Report. “The Anschutz Medical Campus is on the recently de-commisioned site of the U.S. Army’s Fitzsimons Army Medical Center and is named after Philip Anschutz, the billionaire Christian fundamentalist oil and railroad tycoon who also owns The Examiner newspaper chain and website and the neo-conservative Weekly Standard,” Madsen explains. “The Anschutz Medical Campus was built by a $91 million grant from the Anschutz Foundation.” Holmes also worked as a research assistant intern at the Salk Institute at the University of California at San Diego in La Jolla. The Salk Institute teamed up with DARPA, Columbia University, University of California at San Francisco, University of Wisconsin at Madison, Wake Forest University, and the candy bar company Mars “to prevent fatigue in combat troops through the enhanced use of epicatechina, a blood flow-increasing and blood vessel-dilating anti-oxidant flavanol found in cocoa and, particularly, in dark chocolate,” according to Madsen’s research. The DARPA program was part of the military’s “Peak Soldier Performance Program,” which involved engineering brain-machine interfaces for battlefield use and other bionic projects. In addition, James Holmes’ father, Dr. Robert Holmes, worked for San Diego-based HNC Software, Inc., a company that worked with DARPA to develop “cortronic neural networks” that enable machines to translate aural and visual stimuli and simulate human thinking. The Holmes family appears to have deep connections to the military-industrial complex. Lt. Col. Robert Holmes, the grandfather of James Holmes, was a graduate Turkish language graduates of the Army Language School, later the Defense Language Institute, in Monterey, California (the same military installation, incidentally, where alleged 9/11 hijacker Saeed Alghamdi trained). The elder Holmes, Madsen notes, more than likely worked in intelligence. “Typically, U.S. military officers conversant in Turkish served with either the Defense Intelligence Agency or the Central Intelligence Agency at either the U.S. embassy in Ankara or the Consulate General in Istanbul, or both,” he writes. “Was James Holmes engaged in a real-life Jason Bourne TREADSTONE project that broke down and resulted in deadly consequences in Aurora, Colorado?” Madsen concludes. Operation Treadstone was a fictional top-secret CIA project under which the character Jason Bourne underwent behavioral modification.

Here is more weird: Update on James Holmes and his father Robert Holmes View Discussions .CW sent me this photo comparison of two James Holmes photos from the media. They don't look like the same man to me, unless he's nose job, ear pinning, and redone eyes. Very strange. A different reader sent me a link to a Sorcha Faal article on James Holmes that mentions his father is an algorithm expert in high frequency trading. Normally I view the Sorcha Faal website kind of like The Lord of the Rings (actually The Lord of the Rings might have more truth), all it lacks is the Orcs and the Gollum. Sorcha Faal has created more disinformation than any other website on the net. So any reader who goes there beware. But occasionally it drops a bombshell. The thing about Sorcha Faal is they are famous for linking to websites that supposedly prove what they say, yet if you bother to trace the trail often no such proof is there. But some us pay attention to footnotes. There seems to be a thread of truth in this one, but not exactly as stated in Sorcha Faal. I haven't been able to verify any link yet to James's father Robert Holmes and high frequency trading or an upcoming Senate testimony on high frequency trading. Perhaps some of my readers can find that. I did get a hit here but I can't tell if its the same man. There are a lot of Robert Holmes's. I was not aware Fair Isaac was involved in high frequency trading algorithms. The link on Sorcha Faal does go to a LinkedIn profile for a Robert Holmes who is a Senior Lead Scientist and algorithm expert at Fair Isaac Company (FICO) (founded by Engineer Bill Fair and Mathematician Earl Isaac). Robert Holmes does live in San Diego and James has relatives who live here. This looks like this could be the correct guy. This is what makes this story even more curious! Fair Isaac, if you remember, is the folks who created the FICO score on your credit report. You know... the score that affects everything but never shows on your annual free credit report...you gotta pay extra to find out the score that truly counts with the banks. It seems, if this man is truly James' father (AND I DON'T KNOW THAT YET), then maybe this is more about intimidation of Robert Holmes, or Senators who want to question him? What's really strange for me reading this, is the job that took me from Atlanta to San Francisco in 1995 to work at Bank of America, was a project to install an HNC Software credit card fraud detection system at Bank of America. I was part of the crew building the assembly language I/O interfaces to the main frame credit card authorization system. Its possible I helped install a system developed by this man. I never met this guy, it was more of a "black box" to us, and not even Bank of America truly knew how the thing worked. It was all based on Neural Network software that was trained by running raw Bank of America data each week through their proprietary training system at HNC Software for the credit card fraud neural network. The bank would just upload the updates each week as conditions changed among its customers and in major credit card fraud centers like Hong Kong and Turkey. Robert Holmes is very clearly a very bright guy. I imagine his son was of very high IQ. Some backround on HNC Software: Robert Hecht-Nielsen is an adjunct professor of electrical and computer engineering at the University of California, San Diego. He co-founded HNC Software, and became a vice president of R&D at Fair Isaac Corporation when it acquired the company. Robert Hecht-Neilson, is a pioneer in artificial neural networks. The math he and others discovered from studying brain neurons and how they worked was commericialized by HNC Software. I have one of Hecht-Neilson's books and sat in on one of his lectures at UCSD in 1985. T was very interested in neural networks in the late 80s as it was solving problems conventional computer algorithms could not. They work like brain cells. But like brain cells they can be fooled. Neural Network Algorithms are very very good at spotting patterns. Hecht-Neilson, is tangential to this story, he just invented the technique. But without his discovery there might not be any high frequency trading. So what does this have to do with anything in the crime that occurred in Aurora Colorado? Well it explains why James Holmes was so interested in neural research doesn't it? Its something his dad made quite a name for himself. Robert Holmes may be one man that truly understands how fraud is detected in computerized fraud detection systems and perhaps how it can slip through. These algorithms are not perfect. As such he could be considered an expert witness....unless his credibility was challenged...or politically damaged.... If his expertise is behind the high frequency trading algorithms, which I have yet to prove (with Sorcha Faal reports you have to prove every assertion), and if he was truly going to testify before the Senate on high frequency trading, there would be plenty of incentive for someone to discredit this family any way they could. Was this kid framed or mind controlled into this rampage? We know such mind programming techniques exist since at least Nazi Germany. North Korean brainwashed POWs in the 1950s. Shades of John Hinkley Jr.? What Senator is going to take seriously a man testimony who's kid just shot up a theatre? Perhaps that's the whole point? Food for thought. Something very big and important is at stake. Nothing seems to be as it appears. That does appear to be exactly what's going on. They set up his son with some mind altering drugs, screwed up his life, and set him up so that they have power over what will happen to him hour to hour, day to day. It all makes sense, considering how diabolically evil these people are. It's the same guy, as reported by NBC News.
