A few days ago things were not going well while driving my car, and I was cursing mightily. When I looked over, the woman in my passenger seat had her hands over her ears.

Today she asked me for a bite of whatever I had in my hand, so I licked it and gave it to her. She laughed but wouldn't eat it, so I gave it to my pug, who did eat it. She told me I'm funny but gross. Actually, I had a rather well-known writer refer to me as "a barbarian and a gentleman." Pretty accurate description, I think.
