In response to a post where a person stated that the GOP lost the election due to their shoving Romney down our throats while ridiculing and mocking Libertarians and true Conservatives, the owner of the Liberty Post forum posted this gem...

#9. To: Pern (#7)

You're so PROUD you elected the dark EVIL one aren't you?

Well you and the rest of you libertarians can go rot in hell.

Your principles have cost us our entire nation.

So what will those vaunted principles get you?

With a buck maybe a cuppa coffee.

SOLD the nation of our Forefathers for a scrap of paper and a pound of arrogance.

You are Worse than Judas Iscariot. At LEAST he got 30 pieces of silver for HIS betrayal.

I despise you and all of YOU other liberatarians and paul voters.

You HAVE NO RIGHT to complain about Obie getting re-elected.

YOU MORE THAN ANYONE ELSE CAUSED IT !!!

Apparently she's too self deluded to realize that SHE helped Obama win the election by banning and silencing Ron Paul supporters, aiding the corporate puppeteers in eliminating any chance of a decent American winning the GOP nomination.

She obviously has no problem with vote fixing, "losing" ballots, shutting down elections, and outright criminal acts in ensuring Ron Paul would not be the 2012 GOP nominee.

Her and her fellow tardsters actually thought they could FORCE people to vote for "their guy", who was no different than the "current guy" in most respects; if anything he would have brought WWIII upon us with his foreign policy team consisting of some of the same people who brought us 9/11 and the Iraq and Afghan wars.

To turn around and blame true Conservatives and Libertarians for their epic failure in getting "their guy" elected President of the United States shows how mentally unstable they are.

I really don't know what her and the rest of them have to complain about. They wanted a candidate who was pro-perpetual war, pro-big government, and pro-police state. They got exactly what they wanted.

I guess it all boils down to "can't be a man 'cause he doesn't smoke the same cigarette as me" meaning that Republicrat boot leather tastes better to them than that of the Democans.

For months they have been blaming Obama for his spending, too stupid to realize that it is the Republicrat-controlled House of Representatives that controls spending.

Why did Obamacare pass? Because it passed the Republicrat-controlled House. Why did all of the other spending bills they whine about pass? Because the Republicrat-controlled House passed them. So how is it that it's all Obama's fault?

Yet we are to believe that Robamney was going to "save" us? If they won't even stopped the out of control spending of a Democrat administration, why in the hell would they believe that they would stop the out of control spending a Robamney, a politician with a proven record as a big spending liberal?

Partisans are just plain stupid and Goldi-Lox takes the cake. Her stupidity is truly legion.

She's lost her marbles. She's obsessed with blaming Ron Paul for her misery instead of properly placing the blame where it belongs: Mitt Romney was a flip- flopping liberal and he never had a chance with true conservatives/constitutionalists. Why should Ron Paul have given Mitt his endorsement? Romney embodied everything that Ron Paul opposed.

Hell, she's not only blaming Ron Paul, she's blaming all those who have supported him, as well as anyone who didn't get down on their knees and fellate Mitt Romney because he was the "chosen one".

As you say, Romney embodied the very things which liberty minded people vehemently oppose, such as big government, suppression of individual rights, corporate cronyism, and war against any nation Israel dictates.

That's the biggie with Goldi I think. She wants to nuke Iran, because Nutenheyou told her it'd be "good" for Israel. I guess her and her cronies haven't thought about the fallout from such a Darwinian move.

Besides her cognitive dissonance involving spending, it's a matter of the fact Romney was ready to hand over the keys of the US military to Nutenheyou, THAT'S what she REALLY wanted.

I've often said that same thing. She is on record as believing that Obama is not a citizen. If this is indeed true then it is outright impossible for the Republicrats not to have known it from the get go. Therefore they are part of the conspiracy.

I've never seen this mentioned on that site though. We know they are too stupid to see the obvious. I guess this is just another example.

Be careful, she will cast a spell on you!

Mysticism and mystical experiences have been a part of Judaism since the earliest days. The Torah contains many stories of mystical experiences, from visitations by angels to prophetic dreams and visions. The Talmud considers the existence of the soul and when it becomes attached to the body. Jewish tradition tells that the souls of all Jews were in existence at the time of the Giving of the Torah and were present at the time and agreed to the Covenant. There are many stories of places similar to Christian heaven and purgatory, of wandering souls and reincarnation. The Talmud contains vague hints of a mystical school of thought that was taught only to the most advanced students and was not committed to writing. There are several references in ancient sources to ma'aseh bereishit (the work of creation) and ma'aseh merkavah (the work of the chariot [of Ezekiel's vision]), the two primary subjects of mystical thought at the time.

In the middle ages, many of these mystical teachings were committed to writing in books like the Zohar. Many of these writings were asserted to be secret ancient writings or compilations of secret ancient writings.

Like most subjects of Jewish belief, the area of mysticism is wide open to personal interpretation. Some traditional Jews take mysticism very seriously. Mysticism is an integral part of Chasidic Judaism, for example, and passages from kabbalistic sources are routinely included in traditional prayer books. Other traditional Jews take mysticism with a grain of salt. One prominent Orthodox Jew, when introducing a speaker on the subject of Jewish mysticism, said basically, "it's nonsense, but it's Jewish nonsense, and the study of anything Jewish, even nonsense, is worthwhile."

The mystical school of thought came to be known as Kabbalah, from the Hebrew root Qof-Beit-Lamed, meaning "to receive, to accept." The word is usually translated as "tradition." In Hebrew, the word does not have any of the dark, sinister, evil connotations that it has developed in English. For example, the English word "cabal" (a secret group of conspirators) is derived from the Hebrew word Kabbalah, but neither the Hebrew word nor the mystical doctrines have any evil implications to Jews.

www.jewfaq.org/kabbalah.htm

Authentic Jewish mysticism is an integral part of Torah, and Torah determines what is authentic Jewish mysticism.

The general term for Jewish mysticism is "Kabbalah". "Kabbalah" means "tradition". Kabbalah is not a compound of personal insights. It is not a collection of reports of what various sages and saints had to say on the meaning of life and ultimate values - based on their mystical experiences or visions. It is not a system born in a vacuum.

Kabbalah and its teachings - no less than Jewish Law - are an integral part of the Torah. They are traced back to the historical roots of Sinai, part and parcel of "Moses received the Torah from Sinai and transmitted it…."

Oh! I would so love to trace my great grandmother (maternal side) who was Jewish. I wonder if my Great Grandmother would be in those records...

There was so much family secrecy --- that no one was allowed to speak of in my mom's family. I don't think my mom even KNEW her grandmother's real name.

My mom gave me a description of her, and that she spoke broken English. My mom could never id an accent.

I just "know" she was Jewish, in spite of my family never speaking of it. They never went to church. There was not one piece of religious stuff in their homes, never saw a cross or anything else. When my Grandfather died, the local Rabbi stopped by to console my grandmother. She always got her meat from the Rabbi...yet no one in my family EVER admitted to being Jewish. Never discussed it, and it was not ever mentioned.

I only found out by way of a mitochondria gene test, of my actual Jewish heritage. I formally converted at 23, and had been practicing Judaism since I was a teenager. When I converted, there was a lot of whispering. I never really knew what they said.

I have been able to discover her last name (as far as I can find) was Claman. Possibly a derivative of Solomon. She arrived here with a "father" who had the last name of Jackson. They came from Germany. I don't know if that's where she was from, but that is where she departed to arrive here.

I don't know what the circumstances were when she left, but her birth date was 1868 and she arrived here by ship in 1878 when she was about 10. She died in 1927.

She was very tiny, barely 5 feet tall... and married my Great Grandfather who stood well over 6 feet 2 inches. They had 6 living children that I'm aware of, but I heard she'd had 8 or 9 total.

Mr. Jackson went back to Germany when she married. I have a copy of his visa application, and he went back - one way. I believe he was her guardian of some kind, and maybe not directly related to her. Possibly an uncle?

I have tried for years to find out more, but that is the extent of what I could find. I want to know if that was her given name, who her parents were, and if any other of her family was alive or made it here. I also want to find out who Mr. Jackson was, why he brought her here, and if her parents had died or somehow got him to bring her here...and for what reason.

Very frustrating to hit a brick wall, after finding out that much.

Good to know.

I'm searching now thru my records to see if I have the name of the ship. My other ancestors arrived in 1610-13 on the ship, "Mary and John", from England. Another tantalizing clue. Spent hours trying to get the passenger list, and then found there wasn't one on that ship, but a compilation of names had been assembled from the historical society.

By the way...I was so LUCKY!

I actually JUST found a picture of her (Sunday nite) in one of the Ancestry groups! She looks to be in her 40s or 50s so she'd been here for a while... And yes, I do resemble her - a lot. So does my Grandmother, and mother. Wow.

There was an attached story of where the picture came from, who took it, where, and who has had it for all these years. It was a 2nd cousin I didn't know existed....and had recently passed.

The clothing back then on regular people looked like rags. Even though she was well groomed, her clothing was really bad!

Poor little wannabe. She's trying so hard to get people to believe she's not a convert.

I had a Jewish friend many years ago who claimed that converts are treated as outsiders. People are polite to them but they are never part of the group.

Calling Ron Paul an isolationist is like calling your neighbor a hermit because he doesn't come over and break your window - unknown

I WITHDRAW MY CONSENT!
Any perceived compliance with unconstitutional “laws” or orders put forth by government employees is NOT recognition of their authority; it is simply the result of carefully calculated submission to an entity exhibiting superior firepower.

Be careful, she will cast a spell on you!

Some crazy woman in the Chicago area tried that with me. It did not work. LOL

I know of a man who married a Jewish woman and converted. Not sure how well he was accepted by them, though. He was my clout when I worked for the State. He worked for the Secretary of State, and when I would call him, I would get right thru since my name sounded similar to his boss. LOL
