I think this defines liberalism, guilt tripping people into accepting it's agenda. The politics of emotional blackmail. We saw the same shit in Ireland recently with the so-called Children's Rights referendum (read: introducing the same legalised child trafficing that the US, UK and Sweden have) and then the Savita Halappanavar case. The journalist, Kathy Holland (whose mother is a feminist and father a member of the SWP), who broke the story later admitted she hadn't all the facts and assumed it was about her dying because she was denied an abortion. The hysteria from both cases was amazing...
