I'm hearing all sorts of talk about banning firearms from the government propaganda outfits called the main stream media due to the Connecticut murders yet not a word from them about banning drone strikes.

I made the very same comment to someone earlier today. However horrific it is for the parents of those slain children in Connecticut, it's just as horrific for the parents of children slain by US taxpayer drones.

I thought along the same lines....

_______________________________________________________________________________ The US government has declared civil war on itself. Its lust for war grew so great... Liberty before death. We run , we live, We fight again, till we win. We did not start this fight. We damn sure did not willingly pay our taxes to buy the bullets and drones that shall be used to kill us. We will correct the violations of this rogue nation....our rogue nation. We will fix this because nobody else can. You will work to help me help us all to fix this failure. After you're done educating yourself,Take Action!!!

It's a terrible thing to use drones for low level precision bombing. So much better to use the carpet bombing that we did in Vietnam. Let Allah sort them out.

If you can post that crap without gagging, you MUST be a GREAT lover. You have no shame, but we knew that.

I believe the point was that we are targeting innocents, not how we are murdering them. WE target hospitals, ambulances, we tell families to stay inside and we shell the houses, if they come out we shell them because we told them to stay inside.

Perhaps, but Afghan kids don't have the benefit of Obama shedding tears for them.

That's gotta count for something!

Giving the benefit of a doubt, I'd say Shoonra's point is that fewer innocent people are killed with drones than with "carpet bombing", so using drones are better.

Of course that's based on the extremely faulty premise that some kind of bombing is actually needed.

Then again, the "Allah sort them out" line suggests he favors genocide for this class of people.

It sure does. It means he was shedding a fake tear, as I don't think it bothers him in the least.

Thank you captain obvious for such an astute observation on the sarcasm. Nobody shall miss it or mistake it now that you have pointed it out so thoroughly. Good Job.
