I did notice that the doctor was wearing a long lab coat and that he kept his hands in his pockets while keeping his arms tight to his body. In short, he was posing as expected of a doctor in 40°-ish weather who wanted to be recorded in a clean white lab blouse instead of something more appropriate

Also, remember that the temps dip to the 20's at night, so on a sunny day with no wind, and the temps around the mid-forties, a typical New Englander would find that to be pretty mild.

I sort of suspect your MesoWest site and maybe you too are linked to the NSA facility in Mormonly- covert Utah. Regardless, take a hike and find somebody else to talk to.

Congratulations Former Lurker, you got the nut to crack.

I sort of suspect you work for the folks at Fort Meade, that or Tel Aviv.

I've lost track of how many times I've heard that type of thing from you and Ricky. I guess that means you're both way more "cracked" than me, as you said.

You toss out these "it was all done in Hollywood" tales on sensitive topics, such as 9/11 and now the Sandy Hook shootings, to make anyone who questions the official tale look like an idiot or worse.

You don't look like an idiot because I question things of official presentations, FL. More like because you don't question their presentations enough and instead would rather mangle and twist most anything I and other questioners say or post info about on such subjects and then fabricate it into an unrecognizable mess.

Edited sentence 1 at section 1 and sentence 2 at section 2.

Many but none to you.

Right.

Plus, he may have been basking in the (imaginary) warmth of the (adoring) media.

He certainly managed to charm himself by attempting to speak plainly which ordinarily I would applaud. But he was just plain smarmy and clearly taken with himself. He didn't seen to know that, while his office warranted the media attention his poor presentation clearly did not.

Just going to the market I see people in t-shirts and shorts when the temperatures are in the mid forties or above. Myself I think that's pushing it, I at least wear an outer shirt or a thin jacket, with jeans, till the temperatures are in the mid 50's or so..

Eactly.

I sense defensive and hastily posted replies that are needless. No one's stock will ever drop in my eyes because he or she failed to parry and thrust before the Sun rises....

In fact at Liberty Forum NewsReader once savaged me in a lengthy post that he hoped would warrant an immediate and detailed counterattack.

"That's mee", I replied. Everyone laffed and all was well.

I may be one of the worst ones to give anyone any advice but when I find that I just can't get along with someone at all and know that no matter what I say they are never going to change their mind I will usually add them to the kill file. Or as some call it the bozo filter. Not in every case but in most cases. Especially with people who are disrespectful and who seem to be ineducable.

edit: Just to be sure everyone understands what I am saying here, I am not calling either poster engaged in this contretemps ineducable. Only that some people seem to be and that could just be personality conflicts, I don't know. I just know life is too short for such things.

No my friend, it needed to be said and in fact the idea crossed my mind not 20 minutes ago.

And like you I concluded that the circs do not warrant such a drastic remedy, nor would I relish losing two interesting and passionate posters from my circle of trust.

My concern is that this place could steadily degenerate into Goldi Land II. And then I'd no longer have a home, a sanctuary where friends share my happiness, my heartaches, my tears and fears, and then I'd be a lost old man adrift in a virtual sea, trying to avoid the net that is cast so wide that only the CIA could be the primary beneficiary.
