BOSTON — The teenage suspect in the marathon bombings, whose flight from the police after a furious gunfight early Friday morning sparked an intense manhunt that virtually shut down the entire Boston metropolitan area all day, was taken into custody Friday night after the police found him hiding in a boat in the backyard of a house in Watertown, Mass., a senior law enforcement official said.

Surprised he didn't end up like that former LA cop. Listening to the live reports indicated there had been a volley of gunfire, and later some explosions and then more gunfire.

Now he enters the Maj. Nidal Hassan Zone: endless delays, year after year.

So far I think the biggest break through in the Hassan case is whether or not he should be allowed to grow a beard.....

Now the saga begins. It should start with asking the FBI how the older brother missed the (assumed) "watch" list. If the Russians (or whomever) wanted him interviewed that badly; it's doubtful that the request was 'casual.' Next, Mueller needs to answer for telegraphing so many warnings to the bombers - knowing that if they had two bombs; there could be more - accelerating a highly predictable result. (It's amazing that the consequent nightmare wasn't worse! The brothers probably needed two more hours to 'execute' a greater plan.) Then, Mueller needs to account for locking down more than just the city of Boston. I think that's a first; of some prominent sort. It's amazing that it was so easy and successful. (That's not a good sign.) Oh yes; about the dollar expense to just Boston for that maneuver?

However, every American should be asking what liberties they are about to lose; add what magnitude of privacy.

It will take time for all the details to come out - to any objective degree. That assumes that they ever will. If they don't keep the guy on 24/7 suicide watch, they're nuts. Conversely, he might get 'suicided;' that wouldn't come as a surprise to anyone of reasonable education and/or intelligence.

Then, there's the matter of immediate international political consequences. For starters, with the Mexican-American border so porous; what 'terrorist' needs a visa? But then, the 'narco-terrorism' is essentially sacred and sanctioned by our 'government;' so what are the chances?

I'll trust that the NRA is celebrating in the back room, right now. They had it right, all along; it's not about guns; it's about "people!" But, damn, what if they pass a law requiring the registration of all bombs, knives, crossbows, spears, .... ?

What would Obama do?

BOSTON BOMB SUSPECT IS CAPTURED

And the handlers go on their merry way.

OKC, the Shoe Bomber, the Crotch Bomber, WTC '93, 9/11, 7/7, Madrid, Operation Gladio...

The Boston Bombings in Context: How the FBI Fosters, Funds and Equips American Terrorists

By James Corbett

The Boston Marathon bombing has provoked shock, grief and outrage from around the world. After decades of conditioning, the public automatically equates such terrorism with Muslim radicals. But the evidence shows that every major terror plot on American soil in the past 10 years has been fostered, funded and equipped by one organization: the FBI.

People around the world watched in horror this week as explosions rocked the finish line of the Boston Marathon, turning a day of sportsmanship and celebration into one of shock, grief and outrage. As with all such events, the desire to discover who was behind this cowardly act has driven many into a speculative frenzy. And, in a sad reminder of the indoctrination that the Western world has been under for over a decade now in the mythical “war of terror,” it did not take long at all before the collective finger of the mob was pointed squarely in the direction of Muslim terrorists.

Within hours of the blast, fear spread throughout the international Muslim community that the bombing would be connected to an Islamist extremist. A Libyan Twitter user touched a nerve—and received thousands of retweets and worldwide media coverage—by tweeting “Please don’t be a ‘Muslim.’” The backlash began shortly thereafter, with the New York Post falsely implying that a Saudi national was being questioned for his possible role in the attack. The next day, a plane departing Boston Logan Airport returned to the gate and two passengers were forcibly removed because they had been overheard speaking Arabic before takeoff.

As data continues to pour in regarding the bombing and who may be behind it, it is instructive to take a moment to step back and consider this knee-jerk tendency to conclude that this is the work of Islamic radicals. In the minds of millions of Americans, bombs targeting innocents on US soil are inextricably linked with the image of the bearded, turban-wearing boogeyman that has become the shorthand for evil in this age of terror.

This association is not only incorrect, it is dangerously incorrect because it signally fails to identify the one unifying thread between all of the recent terror plots in the US. Lurking behind the shadowy armies of would-be jihadis in the popular imagination is the sober reality that every single major terror bust in the United States since 9/11 has sourced back to the same group, a single entity that has in every single case funded, equipped and even incited the would-be terrorists into action: the FBI.

In 2005, federal prosecutors charged Michael Reynolds, a 47 year old drifter living with his elderly mother, of attempting to wage jihad on the US by blowing up fuel facilities. In reality, his plan for jihad was little more than a series of conversations he had on a Yahoo! Chat room with a US judge posing as a militant. He was arrested after agreeing to meet with an FBI informant who had promised him $40,000 for his cause, and two months later the FBI quietly announced he was likely mentally ill. He was eventually convicted and is curently serving 25 years in jail.

In 2007 the so-called “Fort Dix Six” were nabbed in a much-hyped FBI terror bust after allegedly hatching a plan to attack a US military base and kill the soldiers there. At the time, a 26-page indictment revealed that the group had “no rigorous military training” and “did not appear close to being able to pull off an attack.” The next year it was revealed that the FBI informant who had infiltrated the group had in fact offered to organize the members and lead the plot itself.

In 2009 the Newburgh Four were arrested for an alleged plot to blow up synagogues and shoot down military airplanes in Newburgh, New York. The group was a ragtag bunch of poor black men, at least one of whom was mentally unstable and stored his own urine in jars around his apartment. The group’s fifth member, Shahad Hussein, turned out to be an FBI informant who had promised the members hundreds of thousands of dollars to carry out the plot. In sentencing the defendants, Federal Judge Colleen McMahon said:

“[The government] created acts of terrorism out of [the defendant's] fantasies of bravado and bigotry, and then made those fantasies come true. The government did not have to infiltrate and foil some nefarious plot – there was no nefarious plot to foil.”

In November 2010 the FBI busted the so-called Portland Christmas Tree Bomber, who was allegedly attempting to bomb the lighting ceremony at Portland’s Pioneer Courthouse Square. “The threat was very real,” the FBI intoned at the time. “Our investigation shows that Mohamud was absolutely committed to carrying out an attack on a very grand scale.” The alleged bomber, Arthur Balizan, turned out to be a teenager who bragged to undercover agents that he could get a gun because he was a “rapper” and wrote an article on workout tips for jihadis.

In 2011 the FBI arrested a man that they themselves had supplied with a remote controlled plane and C4 explosives in a harebrained attempt to bomb the Pentagon. In 2012 they busted another would-be jihadi that they again had supplied with a fake gun and suicide vest. Also in 2012 the FBI busted a group of five “anarchists” who were allegedly going to bomb a bridge in the Cleveland area, although it was quietly admitted that the FBI informant who had infiltrated the group had in fact initiated the contact with them and been present at the meetings where they developed the plan to blow up the bridge.

One of the most ridiculous examples of this pattern dates back to 2006, when the DOJ attempted to make it seem as if they had just nabbed a group of dangerous jihadis who were preparing a full ground war against the United States.

The picture that is painted by these facts is as overwhelming as it is difficult for much of the public to comprehend. The conclusion, nevertheless, is incontrovertible: that without the FBI, many of the so-called “terrorist cells” that have been hatching their inept, bumbling schemes against the United States for decades might never have existed at all.

Despite what many would believe, this conclusion is not even controversial. Rather, it has been backed up time and again by evidence in the official record and multiply attested to by FBI insiders and whistleblowers themselves.

Given all of this damning history and insider whistleblowing, it is vital that the Western public break out of their media-induced programming and question the core assumptions of the war on terror paradigm that we have been programmed with for decades now. If there is to be speculation at all over events like these, and if there is any group that has to present a thoroughgoing case for why it is NOT responsible for this atrocity, surely it is the Federal Bureau of Investigation. Having been at the heart of so many terror plots in the past, both the hilariously inept and the chillingly successful, how could the public refuse to even interrogate the organization that has the most to answer for?

The simple fact of the matter is that the history of the modern age of terrorism has proven time and again that the FBI is the prime suspect in any terrorist atrocity that takes place on American soil. Let us all keep this in mind as the details of the investigations into this (and all other) American terrorist incidents begins to emerge.

“I believe that there will ultimately be a clash between the oppressed and those who do the oppressing. I believe that there will be a clash between those who want freedom, justice, and equality for everyone and those who want to continue the system of exploitation. I believe that there will be that kind of clash, but I don’t think it will be based on the color of the skin…” -Malcolm X

So where do the people come from, after being abused by the "law enforcement community" in their homes and community that cheer on the streets and thank the JBT's for their "service".

And if this is as it is starting to appear another in a long list of FBI "stings", what then?

Maybe not ... are these the same guys ??? My opinion is yes.

We should all be livid. Stop acting like docile, mentally castrated pussies and grow a pair. It's time to get in their face. Why should we speak in hushed tones and act all polite when we are being raped every day?

Whether the FBI or the ATF, the history of the "feds" inciting and abetting so many 'criminal' 'terrorist' events is almost unbelievable.

I don't know if the account was ever debunked, but supposedly, the FBI financed the 1993 WTC bombing. By 'coincidence' (?) the same key suspect, Ramsi Yousef and his crew were busted in Manila while trying to assemble "Project Bojinka" (Loud Noise), which was supposed to take down a batch of U.S. airliners over the Pacific & attack the very targets of 9-11. The appropriate U.S. agencies were quickly informed. (Yousef was later 'captured' in Pakistan, following 9-11.)

BUT, there was no 'viable' warning (Right!) of 9-11 - possibly other than Janet Reno's mysteriously unmentioned inter-agency law enforcement 'exercise,' which was reasonably identical to the events of 9-11. (The 'exercise' was a failure, due to the inability of inter-agency cooperation.)

I'd never be an arbitrary apologist for 'regular' criminals; or otherwise. But with "inside job" and entrapment histories such as Ruby Ridge, Waco, the 1993 WTC bombing, the OKC bombing and certainly 9- 11; who in their right mind would trust the FBI, in particular?

There will be a lot of conflicting information ahead, but the FBI's knowledge of the older brother is sufficient for anyone of respectable knowledge and intelligence to ask if the Boston Marathon Bombings had FBI facilitation - before, during and after. (Russia may have a political royal ball with the FBI & Obama; over the 'prior knowledge' issue.)

The younger brother's role is worth questioning - to a high degree. Again, not to be anyone's apologist, I'm curious as to whether or not he had any role, until his older brother advised him that he'd inadvertently put in his penny ("In for a penny; in for a pound"); and was now part of a life-death struggle, like it or not.

From this point in time, the story is destined to be fascinating, as the various entities square off. While the 'feds' want to leap to Gestapo measures, the clock is ticking. Because of the time passage related to the younger brother's medical care, the ability to use the "Public Protection Exception" is probably going to prove useless - at best. In order to use that 'exception,' there has to be reasonable immediate threat to others - expiring with the passage of time; and the independent ability of prudent investigation measures - failing to prove the existence or reasonable suspicion of further probable threat.

While the "Enemy Combatant" option - however un-American - is 'possible,' the 'feds' have to establish 'who' the enemy is; and establish that the younger brother had any prominent role. If he turns up as an impromptu patsy, the 'feds' have a serious problem. Not that they are likely to honor the U.S. Constitution; regardless.

If there is any form of conventional trial, it's most probable that a 'plea deal' will be the outcome. If the younger brother gets any magnitude of legal representation, he only needs to keep his mouth shut. Any respectable defense attorney would make the argument that he was an impromptu patsy; left with second-by-second personal survival decisions.

Certainly, the 'assembly' of the associated weaponry is going to be interesting - with the NRA destined to win, regardless of the facts; whatever they may be.

"Why did we use bombs? We couldn't buy enough guns and ammo."

By all reasonable accounts, thus far, the younger brother, ironically, killed his older brother (backing over him; accidentally or otherwise). Afterward, he obviously made a panicked life- death run for it. I'd rate that reaction as highly logical; given the well known and expected 'kill-first' mentality of American law enforcement. ("I felt that my life was in danger...")

Will his medical condition take an abrupt and fatal 'turn-for-the-worse?' We'll see.

Ironically (if it is), for all the police saturation and searching, a neighbor - later - spotted the younger brother's location & called it in. For the moment, it's prudent to regard that as coincidence. No doubt Alex, et al, will have a field day with that 'coincidence.'

It will be at least 'interesting' to see what the media makes of the 'lockdown' of towns & Boston, in particular. Another 'interesting' element is the role (and authority) of the U.S. military's involvement.

The most intriguing aspect - in my personal opinion - is what 'state' and magnitude of preparedness was at hand to so 'timely' respond to the entire scenario; with such efficiency. By all indications, the various 'agencies' did a great job; but how and why did they do something so "correct," for a change?

The essential question for all "America" is: "So, what happens from here?"

I doubt that the answer will favor American liberty or privacy. My personal conviction is that America will quickly become a 21st Century police state. Sadly, I believe, that will happen with the vast majority of Americans "patriotically" approving their personal losses - oblivious to the true meaning of the consequent self- inflicted wound. As is so damnably predictable, those same 'citizens' will - in almost total (elective) ignorance - leave their 'personal' decision as a legacy to their children; and subsequent generations. There's the overwhelming "crime" of the Boston Marathon Bombings!

However 'arrogant' the statements, above, may strike anyone; I offer the following as intellectual/emotional/moral "American benchmarks:"

For all the embattled debates over "gun control," not even the NRA will illustrate that if anyone seriously cares (consider such terms as "perspective" and "priority") about the magnitude and nature of "tragic" deaths in America; then 'America' needs to first look to the medical malpractice fatality statistics, which start - I repeat, START - at around 100,000 per year. Next, considering the age span, 'America' needs to look to the associated medical malpractice 'injuries.'

Comparably, it's appropriate to next look to the magnitude (approximately 30,000 per year) of highway fatalities, and far greater number of injuries; noting the roughly 50% involvement of drugs and alcohol. OR, if one cares to narrow the 'scope' of such inquiries; note the percentage involvement of "prescription drugs."

A second, but equally illuminating "American Benchmark," is the long-standing USA's military murder campaigns abroad - starting with the Viet Nam War. Today, Obama even claims the right to murder American civilians abroad, on the basis of "suspicion;" offered by the same entities which authorized the War Crime invasions of Afghanistan and Iraq. (Factual; however unpopular.)

Enter the Hollywood line, "You don't want to know the 'truth;' you can't HANDLE the 'truth;' ... ."

All any 'American' needs to do is to pay attention to the details - "details" - of the evening news. For all the massive death and havoc 'America' continues to wreak abroad; yesterday's "terrorist" has evolved into today's "avenger." Was this the case with Tamerian and Dzhokhar Tsarnaev?

If so, such isn't - in any way, shape or form - "tolerable." However, such deserves the descriptor, "understandable." The bottom line being that if "America" doesn't" change what's obviously indicated; we can reliably expect more of the same.

Damn the corporate profiteers, their in-pocket politicians and Daddy Bush's New World Order!

The harsh reality is that "Americans" are easily depicted by the Disney image of "B'rer Fox," having been 'tricked' into holding up the wall of a cliff; mistakenly believing that he's actually doing something 'morally' important and effective. It's sadly that tragic and simple; thus, we meet here, on Freedom4um.
