LOL! That is some funny stuff, thank you.

Americans who have no experience with, or knowledge of, tyranny believe that only terrorists will experience the unchecked power of the state. They will believe this until it happens to them, or their children, or their friends.

Esso thinks he's got it bad, WATCH THIS!!!

Make fun of me. It was 13 below zero this morning with ice fog. I'm burning more gas warming up my truck than driving it. The little ice crystals floating in the air coated everything white and sparkly making it really look cold. There's mountains of snow everywhere. Most secondary roads are snow packed and maybe one and a half lanes wide. I noticed today that there's not many unwrecked cars on the road. I'd guess 90% of the cars driving around are damaged, mostly front end damage.

The gang wanted me to go out my favorite little dive tonight, but I said screw it, it's too cold. Everybody is in a really surly mood up here. This has been the worst winter I've seen in 52 years. Everybody talks about the blizzard of '78, but that was a one-shot deal. We've got more snow on the ground now than we did in '78. It's so deep, I have to cut a path through the yard with the snow blower so the doggies can go potties.

Ingrid told me we're supposed to get a rain, sleet, ice event Saturday night. Saturday is Spudz free jukebox night with my buddy Bill the bartender. I's only a little over a mile from my joint so it shouldn't be too big of a problem. I'm going to try to get downtown Friday. I haven't been to any high-line joints for about a month, it's just been too crappy to go downtown where they really have a problem dealing with the snow. The crew down at Club Soda probably think I died. They wouldn't be exactly wrong about that. LOL.

I just stepped outside with the dogs. It says it's 11 degrees out there, but it sure didn't feel like it. Maybe I should've put on pants and shoes. Maybe next time. I should've picked up some more of that cookie dough ice cream when I was picking up Mom's prescriptions at Kroger today. There ain't shit to do up here right now other than eat and well, ahem, never mind.

poop

What I was thinking of was four letters, but it started with an "F". And yeah, I try to brush Princess every morning, she seems to enjoy that, it helps keep the house clean, but it depresses me. That was something Teri did. The doggies may have company tomorrow. They REALLY like that. I'll have to clean house tomorrow morning just in case. It's been two whole days now.

With my luck with machines of late, the last thing I'd do is have the dogs out while I'm blowing snow. I can see that turning into the "Fargo" woodchipper scene really fast with that big-ass Poulan Pro snowblower I use in the blink of an eye. It's bad enough having to drive through "the intersection" one or more times a day, let alone tempting fate.

Suck it up little pup. It was 35 below in my homeland. Folks had to pull out the block heaters and put them to use to stay mobile for crying out loud!!

Yep - looks like we're in for some Chamber of Commerce weather in the TX.

When is spring turkey season?

And on a beware note, Business Insider just announced that the SherDen area is one of the ten best places to retire...just saying.

Although most retirees are at the bottom of my "concerns."

Yes, it will.

By 2050, Big D will extend to OKC.

IH35 will be fully developed one day.

Sad, but inevitable.
