Temporary retreat ? Will we see reinforcements ? I hope this matter is settled but other ranchers are going to follow the example of Mr. Bundy and what can we expect when they do so ?

"Resolve to serve no more,” he says, “and you are at once freed. I do not ask that you place hands upon the tyrant to topple him over, but simply that you support him no longer; then you will behold him, like a great Colossus whose pedestal has been pulled away, fall of his own weight and break in pieces.”

Étienne de La Boétie

They are down in vegas for R&R, they will be back.

The beauty of the second amendment is that it will not be needed until they try to take it away-Thomas Jefferson

No way is the Bundy clan outta the woods yet...Dingy's got too many millions on schedule from the chinks.

I wonder how rich the county commissioners became by "selling" the land for 1/10th its appraised value, and why they sold, instead of leasing as they were advised to do.

This whole affair begs a most serious investigation, top to bottom.

Americans who have no experience with, or knowledge of, tyranny believe that only terrorists will experience the unchecked power of the state. They will believe this until it happens to them, or their children, or their friends.

From the article you linked to:

"No one does anything in Nevada without Harry approval. That's why the Bundys needs to expand protest to the top slimeball in the land, Harry Reid, and make this a national issue. Reid could stop the Bundy Ranch Seige with just a phone call, to his BLM buddy Kornze or to Obama. But he won't because there is no bribe money in it for him. Make him a pinata. Reid needs to feel massive long term pain, mainly by focusing on his Searchlight land."

Good points.

A criminal douche-bag of the lowest order is Harry.
