Remember during the 2008 vote on the Bailout the congressmen when asked what his constituents were saying, he replied, "I've got 2 opinions from the voters. No and Hell No."

Wall Street donations drowned out their voices.

We are so screwed.

The politicians have learned they don't have to pay much attention to the public because they will be reelected regardless.

Dohmacracy in action!!

The Balkanization of America started early, 100 years before the Revolution. According to teachinghistory.org slavery took on exponential growth by the late 17th century. But Northern America only took 4% of African slaves. Most went to South America.

It's no wonder the founding fathers did not want to address the issue of who was fit to be a citizen or not. By now it's utterly impossible.

One man's freedom is another man's curse. This goes both ways. A diverse society can't agree on the meaning of freedom to save itself. Diversity comes out of our history and our libertarian value system. This is ironic because the USA has been a militarized zone since the beginning. We talk a lot about freedom but we can't make up our minds what it is. So it's always being decided for us.

What did the troops landing on the beaches of Normandy die for again? I can't remember.

To keep Stalin from having a Dacha on the English Channel.

The British schools are currently teaching that it was all about liberating the jews from Auschwitz/Dachau/etc.

Of course The People have no say in the doings of FedGov: we gripe about the abuses of TSA/DEA/FBI/EPA/etc. and NOTHING changes. Congress talks a good game and congresscritters wax indignant and poke holes in the clouds with their fingers during fiery speeches about how they're REALLY going to "give those rascals in D.C. their comeuppance!!" come election time. But after November, reality kicks in and their blustering fades away as they settle in to their respective spots at the feeding trough in D.C. and engage in the sport of Wall Street insider trading and enrich themselves.

The only cure for that nonsense is endless lengths of strong manila hemp rope and hot lead injections.

In practice, all governments are oligarchies.

Democracies are just the least honest about it.

But when the oligarchs and the people come from the same stock and culture, democracy feels and operates as if it's real.

Republicans prefer white genocide to paying taxes or paying more for strawberries.
Democrats prefer white genocide to seeing anyone get ahead.
As the party of principle, Libertarians support white genocide because they oppose zoning.

Thanks for pointing this out, Cyni. Reminds me of Icebreaker.
