The Boston Celtics have hired Darren Erman, who was a coaching associate for four years during Doc Rivers' tenure, as director of NBA scouting, according to a story first reported by Adrian Wojnarowski of Yahoo Sports.
Erman had been an assistant coach, focusing on defense, with the Golden State Warriors until he was fired three weeks ago. According to reports, Erman's termination resulted from his taping one or more conversations involving other Warriors coaches, whom Erman may have suspected were attempting to undermine him.
Celtics president of basketball operations Danny Ainge told The Boston Globe that he was not concerned about the circumstances of Erman's departure from Golden State.
Wojnarowski reports that Erman had been a candidate to land back with Rivers on the Clippers staff before he decided on a return to Boston.

Media is not covering this story much BUT they should. This guy worked for the Golden State Warriors and was taping EVERYONE including players and coaches. Clippers wanted to hire him. He ended up taking a job with Boston Celtics. Consider the timing and the connections. This guy must have a ton of anti-cracker remarks on his I Phone.
