My town has an over representation of cops. It's almost embarrassing.
Lots of monied movers and shakers here who own very expensive homes.( alas, not me)

Like I said, coming to a town near you. Don't expect the cops to be there for you. And when the curfew is in effect, you best not be outside or they will ask for id. I hope to God they have the National Guard out there and not the SWAT team like they have going on in Ferguson right now. The only news outlet covering this right now is CNN. FNC won't go near this.

In my town, oh yes, they'll be there for me and anyone who calls for help.
We've got cops up the wazoo here.
They know they have jobs in this crime free town by the grace of taxpayers who don't think over representation of police per capita is "too much."

They're fanning the flames of "civil unrest" to create more sensationalistic stories.
They could give 2 hoots about the "militarization of police."
Otherwise they would have reported on it several years ago when the blogs were picking up on the theme.
A white police officer shooting a Black choir boy is Pulitzer Prize material in their vulture minds.
Give me a friggin' break if you believe that these journalists have anything more than material self-interest in mind.
