Keywords: voters see Obama experiment as, shocking!

A clear majority of Americans describe President Obama's tenure as a "failure" according to a new poll released Monday.

The survey from IBD/TIPP indicates that 53 percent of adults in the United States now characterize Obama's presidency as a "failure," while 41 percent chalk it up as a success. Half of the people who live in states won by Obama see his tenure negatively, as do 59 percent of those aged 25-44 years old.

Some of the key groups remain solid in their support of the president, though. More than three-quarters of voters aged 18-24 see Obama's presidency as a success, as do 54 percent of single women.

By contrast, only 32 percent of married women describe Obama as a success while 58 percent of independents see him as a failure.

The survey also found that only 43 percent of U.S. adults say they would vote for Obama, who has been besieged by international crises, were a presidential election held today. Some 49 percent would favor 2012 Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney.

The slide in approval of the president seems to be primarily driven by concern over his economic record. While three in four Americans say they place a "high importance" on the economy and jobs when evaluating candidates, just 31 percent say Obama is doing a good job at growing the economy.

At a speech last week at Northwestern University, Obama looked to reverse those perceptions, arguing it was "indisputable that our economy is stronger today than it was when I took office." Obama said progress "has been hard, but it has been steady, and it is real."

In the address, Obama acknowledged that there were persistent frustrations with the economy, but blamed congressional Republicans for blocking policy ideas he argues would have helped the middle class reap more benefits from the recovery.

"When push came to shove this year, and Republicans in Congress actually had to take a stand on policies that would help the middle class and working Americans — raising the minimum wage, enacting fair pay, refinancing student loans, extending insurance for the unemployed — the answer was 'no,'” Obama said.

Republicans blasted back, saying Obama had killed middle class jobs through regulation and blocking construction projects like the Keystone XL pipeline.

"What about Americans who work in industries that liberals in Washington don’t approve of, like coal?" Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.) said. "This administration has thrown a wet blanket over the economy with its focus on spending, borrowing, taxing and regulating, and those things clearly haven’t worked."

What 4um folks knew for certain 5 years ago is finally being recognized by the majority of Americans. White guilt blinders are off- the emperor has no clothes! What I don't totally understand is why age groups 18-24 still see him in a positive light - I guess they haven't hit the unemployment lines yet so they haven't been smacked awake by reality.

Party voters are the bane of this country.

Untold millions of them.

Buckwheat is a congenital liar - end of story.

The ultimate Manchurian candidate.

Given that both were/are establishment candidates, I would vote for a monkey before I would vote for either of them. A monkey could decide things by throwing darts at a board and make the right call at least part of the time.

In "Planet of the Apes", the apes ruled over humans, who were mute. When they encountered Charlton Heston, the astronaut from Earth's past, who could speak, they were literally astounded. Simians, as we all know, have no capacity for speech. Throwing darts is something that they might be able to mimic. ;)

You know, if what has been inflicted on us was down to just bad luck or bad judgement then their decisions would not be wrong every time. But they never do anything for the benefit of the US, only its destruction. So it must be planned.

Exactly correct.

Obummer is the choice of the Rothschilds to bring down America. If you have guns and ammo, keep them well oiled and cleaned and ready to go. You might need to bug out. Don't forget the bug out bag with your needs, such as food and water.

You might also need to stay where you are and hold out. So hope you have food and water there also. ;)

Good advice for everyone.

Given that both were/are establishment candidates

I beg to differ re: Obola in 2008. HildaBeast was the establishment candidate.

I'm not even sure if Obola was the establishment candidate in 2012. He was the incumbent. Look at his insiders - Holder, Jarrett - not exactly moneyed big hitters or cocktail circuit types.

Reportedly Pelosi can't stand him and in 2007 Harry Reid "was wowed by Obama's oratorical gifts and believed that the country was ready to embrace a black presidential candidate, especially one such as Obama -- a "light-skinned" African American "with no Negro dialect, unless he wanted to have one," as Reid said privately." page 37 Game Change

The fact is that no one other than approved establishment candidates get the nomination(s). And if by some miracle one did get by they would Diebold the establishment pick into the office.
