2nd Amendment

A well-regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a Free State,
the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed.

There are a handful of terms that, when used, immediately elicit images and dialogue inside the average person’s head of fringe, or extreme behavior. I submit that one word which falls into that category is the word Militia. For many, the term Militia brings up memories of groups of men who paint their face and dress in camo while running through the woods shooting at each other espousing anti-government slogans. That may, in some cases, be what the Militia has devolved into in modern times, however that persona is very far afield from the original Militia who used to inhabit this land in Colonial times. No, the idea of a Militia is not fringe, and yes, a Militia is Constitutional, as illustrated above.

Would a well-regulated Militia solve our problem with lawlessness in America? How about the “Death by Cop” phenomenon sweeping across the nation? One man, Edwin Vieira, Jr., thinks it would. Since Edwin Vieira is a holder of 4 Degrees from Harvard University, and considered one of the top Constitutional experts in the country, when Edwin Vieira talks we should all pay attention and get ready to learn. Talk is what he did in the following interview from The Liberty Brothers Radio Show this week. I have included a bio for Edwin Vieira [My note: at the article site], followed by our excellent and most informative interview.

It is just garbage. The constitution is meaningless since the powers ignore it and they own the media and public schools with in turn controls what the people believe.

Any consensus like that about their supposed "powers" to supercede our Constitution is the meaningless, nonsensus garbage so think again. Who were "We the People" which wrote and gave us the Constitution? They were of America's Militias, so it is basically a Militia document from its inception. Americans nowadays ought to stop having an identity crisis about that and consider it an honor to be in those ranks of Constitution Loyalists and Defenders.

Think again! Hardly!

Alexander Hamilton who gave us the first national bank and who believed in a strong national government was the leader of the group that gave us the constitution. It was written to appear to give power to the states because that is what the people at the time expected. However, in reality it allowed for the powerful central government that we now have.

Furthermore, any law, such as the constitution, that does not have penalties for violating it and an effective means of enforcement is no law at all. It is no more effective than a law against bank robbery would be if it provided no penalties and a means of enforcement.

James Madison is regarded as the Father of the Constitution, not Alexander Hamilton.

It was written to appear to give power to the states because that is what the people at the time expected. However, in reality it allowed for the powerful central government that we now have.

The Articles of Confederation were more of a central government model with Congress being the only Federal authority, also acting as President and a Maritime Judiciary. It denied equal treatment and equal movement to paupers and vagabonds.

Furthermore, any law, such as the constitution, that does not have penalties for violating it and an effective means of enforcement is no law at all. It is no more effective than a law against bank robbery would be if it provided no penalties and a means of enforcement.

The Constitution is the Law of the Land and Militia enforcement thereof is provided therein.
