I just read a Fb post by Esso's wife, Marla, that he is in the hospital. She didn't say the reason, but that his BP is very high and that he is in a lot of pain.

Please keep our dear friend in your thoughts and prayers today.

Will do. I'm beginning to suspect something like glass-shrapnel in him that got overlooked or plastics that also might not be visible in x-rays. I actually know of such a case where the doctors and nurses thought nothing of a glass shard being the possible source of pain but it was and was removed weeks later at home when discovered but no thanks to them.

I had an accident a long time ago and had glass work out from under my skin (mainly in my forehead) for close to a year.

I was in church when I was about eight. I think we were going through Catholic indoctrination training or something....kneeling and sitting.

Well, I sat in the pew after kneeling and got speared in my right thigh with a pencil. The lead part stuck in my thigh and to this day, I think that is why I'm brain damaged.

I'm afraid to look and confirm this fact fifty years later.

Correction: It stuck in my left thigh. I can still see it. And I'm still brain damaged.

You got off lightly with glass.
