Wishing you and yours the very best.

Roosevelt and I both came into town at the same time.

He turned out to be a Jew communist, I became a hard shelled conservative and a cynic about politics and government.

Great job, Dad.

I could live on a cruise ship were things different.

It's cheaper than living in a nursing home. It still has that luxury price tag.

I don't know what line he's using, but yes, it's way, way, way, way, cheaper than a land based home.

Plus, he can drink, smoke, gamble, get great massages, have wonderful eye-candy, all kinds of grub 24/7, and floor-shows at night...damn, I'm making myself want to book one.

I'm really happy for Mr.Mertz Sr.

Local nursing home is 6K a month. For that they keep you drugged out of your mind.

They drug you, then milk you.

I visited my friend's father last week in a nursing home. He smoked like a chimney and has breathing problems and he's only 73.

As an outsider, it seemed like a nice facility with a nice, friendly staff.

They brought him his lunch shortly before I departed. I looked at the piece of paper that came with his lunch...it had about six items, four were on his tray. Someone is milking the system with those little things. And it ain't the little people.

To be clear, he was well fed and cared for.

Likewise!

Let's hope that we're all uneventfully wishing each other HNY next year at this time as well!
