Remember the Fukushima nuclear meltdown that happened in Japan not long ago?

I know a lot of people who saw that and said, “Yeah, pretty scary, but that could never happen here.”

That’s what I call denial.

The Japanese people never saw it coming.

And if you live in one of the 31 states with one or more of the 100 nuclear power plants in the US, you may not see it coming either.

The government knows a meltdown is imminent, which is why FEMA tried this shocking little stunt.

In fact, FEMA is already making preparations for aiding the 7 million Americans who live along the New Madrid fault line (which spans several states).

So believe me when I tell you it’s not just a possibility.

It’s a near-certainty.

Here's What You Need To Hoard NOW For A Nuclear Meltdown…

Potassium Iodide Tablets

Potassium iodide is a salt of stable iodine in medicine form. When you take the tablets, your thyroid becomes “full” of iodine and blocks out all the radioactive iodine from the contaminated area. These tablets are available anywhere, but Japan had two built-in advantages in Fukushima that you can mimic if you’re prepared:

Miso Soup

Miso is rich in iodine, which protects the thyroid and the iodine-receptor rich tissue as described above. It’s also easier for your body to process than tablets (all minerals are easier for your body to process in food form than tablet form) and tastes delicious.

Sea Vegetables

Kelp, wakame, kombu, and other sea vegetables are a natural source of iodine, but more importantly they’re rich in sodium alginate, a polysaccharide, which selectively binds radioactive strontium and eliminates it from the body.

P.S. - Potassium Iodide tablets are easy to find and light enough to add to your bugout bag, but I highly recommend you seek out these foods and add them to your home survival food kits.

Your local Asian grocery will have miso and sea vegetables, but you can also order them online.

I recommend looking for Miso soup packets that contain the sea vegetable kelp.

It’s a double whammy of protection, and it tastes delicious.
