I of course didn't deliberately listen to Ted Crudz' speech, but you couldn't get away from it. The same day I had lunch in a Chinese restaurant, and tragically, it has TVs in 3 of its 4 dining areas, all set to some horrible liberal station -- maybe even Faux News.

The way the communist "mainstream" media exulted over Crudz should be enough to tip everybody off. Exulted? They're overjoyed! They're known to be extreme socialists and yet they just LOVE the idea of Ted Crudz representing the republiCON party for president this time. Red alert!

But for those who still need convincing, a brief tour of what Crudz actually said. Firstly, he spends the first THIRD of the speech slinging the "nation of immigrants" BS we can't get way from for more than ten seconds in post- white amerika. Not good!

Oh boy, next he's channeling Reagan: “The incredible opportunity of the American dream, what has enabled millions of people from all over the world to come to America with nothing and to achieve anything. And then the American exceptionalism that has made this nation a clarion voice for freedom in the world, a shining city on a hill.”

Anybody else getting sick of strawberry milkshakes with road apple garnish? “American exceptionalism” is simply and only the notion that amerika gets to be a law unto itself and flout the normal rules of conduct, murdering its way around the Middle East (and beyond) to please Israel. That's exactly what that is. Could somebody reiterate for us the difference between our foreign policy and the Soviet Union's? Except that ours is much more suicidal.

“Imagine health care reform that keeps government out of the way between you and your doctor and that makes health insurance personal and portable and affordable”, he says. What would that be? He doesn't say. If he means to “abolish Obamacare and replace it” like the odious Romney, thanks but no thanks. It just so happens that's the point at which he starts stumping for the unlawful and zany flat tax thing. (We don't owe the money!)

By the time he's lauding Reagan as a tax cutter, I think no further comment is necessary, but I will add one more link that says all:

Will the next six republiCON hopefuls please step forth so we can offer them the same deluxe treatment?

Nice essay - thanks.

All candidates, announced and otherwise, are jizrael-firsters, and should be denounced accordingly at every opportunity.

“The most dangerous man to any government is the man who is able to think things out... without regard to the prevailing superstitions and taboos. Almost inevitably he comes to the conclusion that the government he lives under is dishonest, insane, intolerable.” ~ H. L. Mencken

I give him credit for at least coming clean that it's all about insurance and not in the least actual health care.

I guess we're at that point however where we can begin discussing that 4x4 that's been placed up everyone's ass now.

$20K/year for insurance? LMAO

Gee, I wonder which companies are the beneficiaries and of which companies they are subsidiaries of? Hmmmm...

There are a hundred million too many fools in this country, if not more. 90% of Americans deserve to live in poverty, particularly those supporting the MIC.

Amen! My position on health care is that whatever the fedgov does with it is going to be a disaster. If it ain't broke, don't fix it. If it is, Washington will only smash its remnants to smithereens. I really, really, wish I didn't have to be so negative, but feel it's the realistic position. Most amerikans live in a dream world in which responsibility and vigilance are strictly optional. If they still believe the DUMmacrat or republiCON parties actually care about them, they need shock treatments.... or a padded cell.

Thank you Lod and others for your kind feedback.
