A second and deeper magma chamber has been found. It is enough to fill the Grand Canyon 11 times over. That is in addition to the upper chamber which was enough to cover everyone within 500 miles with ash.

What is it expected to do in a worst case scenario? I figure it to be equivalent to a cube 35 kilometers on a side. That is indeed plenty enough to wreak havoc.
