Instant karma is gonna get you, especially if you’re a giant jerk. From what we can see here, everyone got what they deserved—except the poor trucker, who was just in the wrong place at the wrong time.

MUST SEE: Jeep Driver Out-Jerks Corvette Driver’s Jerk Parking Job: Video

What happened? A Camaro driver was trying to pass on the right—dangerously, nearly sideswiping a pickup—and the pickup driver reacted by boxing him in against a big rig.

The Camaro driver wasn’t having it.

Instead, he attempted a high-speed pass on a grassy median. Predictably, the buffoon loses control of the car, hits the pickup, and sends them both into the path of the tractor-trailer. All three end up going off the highway.

Fortunately it doesn’t look as if anyone was seriously injured.

Unfortunately, neither of these asshats is likely to understand how badly they messed up. And that poor trucker just had a very bad day at work.

I've seen quite a few "giant jerks" get what they've had coming to them. LOL

You do not have a moral obligation to let idiots pass you when there is an impassibly slower traffic jam directly ahead. This is akin to tripping someone to get that good cup of spaghetti-mac before they do, even though there are hundred of such delicious meals awaiting on the other folding table.

Morality has nothing to do with it. Legally you have every obligation to move over and not block traffic in the left lane. If you do not understand that then you are unfit to drive on the highways.

There was absolutely no one in front of that p/u, you can tell by both the shadows and the fact that after the accident it was entirely clear because you can see it directly.

The p/u truck driver did that for approximately a half-mile so clearly it was deliberate. I see that kind of behavior every time I go out for more than a short trip. People in this country have become semi-psychotic and IMO the rise of video games and the whole "not in my house" mentality has driven it. If people walked around like they drive then there'd be fist fights in public constantly.

Same with acceleration and deceleration lanes. They used to call them acceleration lanes for a reason, because you're supposed to accelerate in them. To what speed? To the speed of the traffic. But most people today brainlessly try to enter 70 mph (often faster) traffic doing 35 or 40. It's the absolute most dangerous way to enter a highway. Unfortunately the word accelerate has become a bad word.

Same with deceleration lanes. The entire idea is to first move into the deceleration lane and then start slowing down. But again, most people drive brainlessly without ever giving a thought as to how or why the roads are set up as they are and slow down to 50 in a 70 on the highway forcing the rest of the traffic to adjust to their poor behavior.

BTW, in Germany that pick-up would have been ticketed for not moving over immediately. Other nations police that as well, just not here in the states where everything goes.

It's sadly funny because I often point out to others in the car with me that the right lane is quite often empty while there's an enormous backup in the left lane, allowing me to drive through in the right lane. It's become the complete opposite of both the laws as well as of common sense and intent in this country.

Same with eating or texting, in most European nations you'll be ticketed for that. But in our society the rights of one person, despite the inconveniences caused to many more people, seem to trump all else. There's a psychosis running rampant in our society that manifests itself in many ways, driving behavior being one of the primary ways.
