In his latest weekly e-mail news bulletin, Rand Paul boasts that he told the zionist organization of america "about my trip to israel two years ago." Though the trip occured in 2013, Paul apparently wants to stretch his pandering out as long as possible and get the most shekels as he can out of it.
The alert, titled This Week In News For Senator Rand Paul - May 1, 2015, stated, in part:
Dr. Rand Paul Speaks at the Zionist Organization of America Luncheon
This week, I had the opportunity to speak at the Zionist Organization of America Luncheon about my trip to Israel two years ago and touched on legislation I introduced in March, known as the Stand with Israel Act of 2015. This bill would halt all U.S. foreign aid to the Palestinian Authority (PA) until the PA renounces violence, purges terrorists from its ranks, and recognizes the nation of Israel.

Paul's Israel bill states, in part,
"...The prohibition under subsection (a) shall have no effect for a fiscal year if the President certifies to Congress during that fiscal year that the Palestinian Authority has --
(1) Formally recognized the right of Israel to exist as a Jewish state;
(2) Publicly recognized the state of Israel;
(3) Renounced terrorism;
(4) Purged all individuals with terrorist ties from security services;
(5) Terminated funding of anti-American and anti-Israel incitement;
(6) Publicly pledged to not engage in war with Israel..."
A 2013 article in Vogue magazine titled Could Republican Senator Rand Paul Win the White House ... noted how Paul's trip to Israel in 2013 had a profound effect on him:
"If Paul is an increasingly familiar presence in the news media, Kelley remains his secret asset... She is well aware that her accompanying Paul on his recent trip to Iowa added "another element" to his wooing of the Christian right. The couple attend a Methodist church, and they recently visited Jerusalem, singing "How Great Thou Art" in the Garden of Gethsemane, a trip Paul says softened his position on cutting foreign aid to Israel. And she recently left the political consulting firm the Strategy Group for Media, where she worked on behalf of Ted Cruz, one of her husband’s chief rivals for the conservative base."
RandPaul.com's 'about page' states: "Rand and Kelley are both devout Christians and are active in their local church." It has not yet been verified that 'pastor' John Hagee has opened a branch in Rand's Kentucky neighborhood.
