When guns and ammo go from legal to illegal, they know where to find you.
The U.S. government has always contended that gun registration does not equal gun confiscation. They claim that they only want to know who has which guns so that when a crime is committed with a gun, they can try to track down the owner.
Well, as with most gun laws, the government has a hidden agenda. Its to remove guns from everyone, including law-abiding citizens who only want to exercise their constitutional rights to protect themselves with firearms. New York state is the perfect example.
The SAFE Act was passed by the New York state legislature and signed by the governor in early 2013. It makes certain guns and ammunition illegal that were formerly perfectly legal to own. The Act bans magazines holding more than 10 rounds, it restricts magazines to seven loaded rounds, it requires mandatory background checks for ammunition purchases, it creates a firearms registry for assault weapons and it requires firearm permit holders to fill out a form in order to keep the state from publicly identifying them.
I could use this entire blog space to explain why this legislation should be called the UNSAFE Act rather than the SAFE Act, but I wont. What I will tell you is that because New York gun owners were previously forced to register their guns, the government now knows who possesses these weapons in question. These gun owners are now receiving notices telling them to surrender those firearms, remove them from the city limits or render them inoperable.
Liberals will argue that gun registration makes sense because it helps catch criminals, but the governments real agenda with this initiative is to take guns out of our hands, however they can do it. And slowly but surely at least in some states thats exactly what theyre accomplishing.
Have you ever been contacted by a city or state official regarding your guns? What do you think the governments real agenda is when it comes to having gun owners register their weapons? Hope to hear from you about this important topic.

When I first moved into the apartment I am in, a woman came there from HHS, a federal agency. She started asking me about guns. I told her, "There are no guns here. I don't own any guns. Why are you asking this?" She said, "That shooting happened out near Denver (Aurora)." I told her, "Why would you come here when the shooting happened in Colorado?" I wonder who dropped a dime on me. ;)
