Years ago I made a list and the number of countries I visited was 32.

A couple of them were airport layovers, but they count, don't they?

Now, with a few cruises under my belt I'll boast of 40 different countries I've visited.

I just saw a Yahoo article of a person who visited all countries in the world and thought I'd post this Vanity for fun and discussion.

I'll be back to participate; but I'm getting out of the house to watch the horse races on this fine, warm day.

I hope to see American Pharoah win the Triple Crown at 6:50 EDT on NBC-TV...I'll be watching it on the jumbo screen at Churchill Downs.

Mexico, several times, a plane change at JFK which was like another country on the way to Germany, Austria, Italy, France, Spain (twice), Switzerland (three times), then some Caribbean cruises which took us to the usual suspects there.

A lot more places than I ever thought prior to marrying at 32.

Only 1...Canada a few dozen times to fish walleye, smallmouth and pike. Unless you count Quebec as a separate country. Then it'd be two.

Same here, Canada. I visited a bunch of provinces there: British Columbia, Alberta, New Brunswick, and Nova Scotia. Switzerland is on my bucket list, along with Germany and Austria.

10 countries, mainly in Western Europe.

Our first trip to Europe in the early eighties we used www.eurail.com/eurail-passes and Frommers' Europe on $5/Day book to visit, in order, Germany, Austria, northern Italy, France and Monte Carlo along the Med, and then north to Switzerland to visit Mrs.L's family there.

It was a wonderful, epic adventure that left us DOA when we arrived back home.
