In a bizarre and bombastic speech Tuesday, outspoken billionaire Donald Trump said he will run for President in 2016.

“Our country needs a truly great leader, and we need a truly great leader now,” Trump said in a kick off rally at his glitzy Trump Tower on Fifth Ave.

“Ladies and gentlemen, I am officially running for President of the United States and we are going to make our country great again.”

Over the course of the roughly 40-minute speech, Trump took strange shots at every country imaginable, lobbing offensive insults at several nationalities, and repeatedly slammed President Obama and the nation's leaders as "stupid" and "losers."

He kicked off his bid with a series of disparaging comments about Mexican immigrants, charging many of them are carrying drugs or are "rapists."

10 MOST OUTRAGEOUS QUOTES FROM TRUMP'S ANNOUNCEMENT

“When Mexico sends its people, they’re not sending their best,” Trump said, in an attempt to outline his views on immigration.

“They’re sending people who have lots of problems,” he added, which include “drugs” and “being rapists.”

Trump also promised to end the nation’s illegal immigration crisis by erecting a “great wall.”

Trump acknowledges supporters before his announcement during the event at Trump Tower in New York.

“I will build a great, great wall on our southern border,” he said. “And I will make Mexico pay for that wall.”

Later, he attacked China for stealing jobs from U.S. workers and promised he would restore the American economy.

“I will be the great jobs President that God ever created,” he said.

At other moments, Trump insulted the sovereignty of Saudi Arabia, the brainpower of his competitors for the nomination, and promised to fund his campaign with his own money.

"I'm not using donors. I don't care. I'm really rich,” he said.

Trump’s speech differed significantly from the text of his prepared remarks, prompting several politicos to accuse him of winging the entire event to gain publicity for his name and empire.

Others coyly teased the mogul for the wild ideas he pitched.

“Today, Donald Trump became the second major Republican candidate to announce for president in two days. He adds some much-needed seriousness that has previously been lacking from the GOP field, and we look forward to hearing more about his ideas for the nation,” DNC Press Secretary Holly Shulman said in a statement.

Trump joins another 12 declared candidates in the crowded and ever-growing race for the Republican presidential nomination, including former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush, Florida Sen. Marco Rubio and Kentucky Sen. Rand Paul.

This may force John McCain to enter the race just so he bark fiercely and bite Donald's ankle. Look for Lindsey Graham to have a neocon melt-down over Donald, too.

He's spot-on correct about Mexico and what should be done.

Like Perot he's a billionaire and a tad nutty. I pray he stays in and blows up the Rs. The only political hope we have is if the Rs collapse and Hillary and the Ds are handed the wheel to a sinking ship.

What most Americans don't realize is that back in the 80's when Reagan was President and was trafficking guns and drugs to Iran and the Nicaraguan government as fully aided and abetted by Oliver North, Cheney and Bush Sr., these same people used Mexico as their personal drug haven to create NAFTA/GATT for the real purpose of free trade of drugs and human trafficking operations known as Operation Greenbacks for Wetbacks. When Reagan/Bush/Cheney took over Mexico drug lords operatives, they made lucrative deals with the Mexican government to have control of their economy in exchange for free trafficking of drugs and prostitution (which continues to this very day). When our government took control of the Mexican government, we are responsible for their peso being devalued, which in return brought down their country. The only people who are wealthy in that area of the world are the drug lords who made pacts with our government to include oil dealings with our government.

America is not known as the land of the free but a $ symbol. It is just as much for sale as any other country. It is why when I hear people say "We are a Christian country", I just laugh cause I know the truth. We do not worship God but instead the $ symbol.

It is why I don't get involved with political persuasions because both of them have been compromised.

I really do believe that if the Rs botch this election (and they will) the internal civil war that will erupt will blow the party up leaving the establishment-types to defect to the Ds. How the vacuum is filled could be interesting. I'd hope for a White, Euro-Nationalist type of party.

Right!! It's not for nothing that most of the time when you see the red, white and blue flying, it's because somebody's opening a new business.

Why red, white and blue at such times? Other colors are just as eye-catching if not more so. Similarly, the biggest "amerikan flags" often signify you're driving in the direction of a shopping mall.

The USA was created to facilitate combined defense and commerce, so loot is literally half of what the emblem stands for. If it were a Christian country per se, you'd see a cross on it at least. Other countries supposedly inferior than ours have them! In that video on the Russian rapper a St. Andrew's cross is barely glimpsed -- the RUssian Navy Jack which happens to by a close cousin of our Confederate one.

Well, I don't pay attention to the red, white and blue anymore as much as I do the truck symbol of the eagle that sits on top of the flag with the yellow fringe on the bottom. The eagle is taken from the Roman empire when they conquered much of Europe and now the United States thanks to the Vatican church which dominates our court system using Canon law to apply to federal judges and Administrative law (law of procedure) rather than Judicial law (law of substance). The yellow fringe is not just a decoration but is the symbol of an army on the march flag used by the military in times of war. It is never to be flown indoors in any courts, schools or any public facility. More here on this tidbit www.apfn.org/apfn/flag.htm The so-called red, white and blue flag we see flown in our schools, courts, and government buildings is the Article 1 of the United States Constitution. What actually should be flown is the Article III flag.

MILITARY FLAG WITH THE GOLD FRINGE

Martial Law Flag "Pursuant to 4 U.S.C. chapter 1, §§1, 2, & 3; Executive Order 10834, August 21, 1959; 24 F.R.6865; a military flag is a flag that resembles the regular flag of the United States, except that it has a YELLOW FRINGE border on three sides. The President of the United States designates this deviation from the regular flag, by executive order, and in his capacity as Commander-in-Chief of the military. The placing of a fringe on the national flag, the dimensions of the flag and the arrangement of the stars in the union are matters of detail not controlled by statute, but are within the discretion of the President as Commander in Chief of the Army and Navy." 34 Ops. Atty. Gen. 83.

President, Dwight David Eisenhower, by Executive Order No.10834, signed on August 21, 1959 and printed in the Federal Register at 24 F.R. 6865, pursuant to law, stated that: "A military flag is a flag that resembles the regular flag of the United States, except that it has a yellow fringe border on three sides."

All one needs to do is take a visit over to your federal court law library and do some research. The Federal Register logs all the flag laws and laws concerning the united states. The Parallel Table of Authorities backs up the FR. You might have to ask the desk clerk to look for the older Federal Register dating back to that time as only the current FR's are kept out.

Today, it seems to be just another war zone.
