Just a thought -- since Paypal is such a tidy little "multi-currency account" in effect, maybe you could use it somehow.
Or write some European Ebay seller and ask if they'd be willing to mail you some for your digital Paypal dollars?
Just negotiate in cash with some local European person? If they don't have any Euros they know where to get them.
Would major banks in big cities have some on hand?
