After his comments about Americas unsecured border and illegal immigration, the media roundly assumed that Donald Trump would get almost no support from the Hispanic community. So, imagine the surprise of the mainstream media when a recent poll revealed that the candidate with the most support amongst Latino voters was
Donald Trump.

The latest survey from Public Policy Polling showed Trump with a 34 percent favorability rating among Hispanics, highest among all of the Republican candidates. Pro-amnesty candidate Jeb Bush was second at 31 percent.
Trump even scored higher than two candidates of Latino descent: Sen. Ted Cruz of Texas, whose father was a Cuban immigrant, scored only 30 percent, while Sen. Marco Rubio of Florida, both of whose parents were Cuban, scored 29 percent.
And one of the most pro-illegal candidates Gov. Chris Christie of New Jersey, who offered in-state tuition to illegal immigrants in the Garden State came in near the bottom at 21 percent. Only Ben Carson and former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee scored lower, both with 16 percent.
Trump caused a great deal of stir when he told reporters he would win the Hispanic vote during a campaign stop in Laredo, Texas this week (H/T The Gateway Pundit).
And while most every other candidate has tried to give noncommittal answers to questions about illegal immigration, Trump has made his position on the matter unequivocal.
Illegal immigrants are causing tremendous problem(s) coming in, Trump said during an appearance on MSNBC. Theres crime. Its a crime wave. Its a disaster. The problem were having with Mexico is that their government officials and negotiators are far smarter than ours, like from a different planet
We are getting the short end of the stick in every single instance.
He added: Mexico is sending a lot of their people over that they dont want. And that includes people that should be in Mexican prisons and you know it and I know it and nobody wants to talk about it.
Why would Latino voters be supporting Trump? Maybe its because they know something the liberal mainstream media doesnt want to admit: Trump is telling the truth about illegal immigration, and Hispanics dont like it any more than Trump does.
