"This is anything but a religion of peace. This is a religion of war," Jan Markell, of Olive Tree Ministries, says of the abuse hurled at the Hussain family. British newspaper The Daily Mail described how the Hussain family has been attacked on the street, their car windows have been busted, and eggs have been thrown at their home. A neighbor was convicted in court after a Hussain family member recorded a ranting threat on a cell phone.
The story further explained that The Daily Mail has been following the Hussain family since 2005, when it first reported troubles from Muslims in the city of Bradford.
"We live in a free, democratic society and what they are doing to us is abhorrent," Nissar Hussain, husband and father of six children, told the newspaper.
Markell says the problem in Great Britain is also a European problem, where an "Islamic invasion" is changing the entire continent.
A surge of tens of thousands of Muslim migrants into Europe have made headlines in recent months.
Markell, Jan (Olive Tree Ministries)But stories about Islam in Great Britain date back several years, including that authorities in the city of Rotherham ignored Muslim rape gangs that assaulted as many 1,400 pre-teen girls over several years.
A secular state school run by "hardline Muslims" was caught indoctrinating children with pro-Islam, anti-Western propaganda in 2014.
In 2013, two Muslim men murdered an unarmed British soldier, hacking him to death on a public street (see related video).
"I am a soldier of Allah. This is war," one of the men said during his trial.
"They are changing the very landscape of parts of the world," warns Markell. "But that is what the caliphate is all about."
What's happening in Europe, she adds, is a "foreshadowing" of what radical Muslims would like to accomplish in the U.S.
