I don't even think we should focus on getting to heaven. We should focus on living right and "establishing justice in the city gates", i.e. the halls of power in the here and now (Amos 5:15). "Rescue those being dragged unjustly to death" and all that good stuff.
We should thank God there's a heaven (if there is) but live as if there isn't, doing and demanding what's right for its own sake.
