The Russian leader warned he will pull out of coalition strikes

The Moscow leader warned his cooperation with the US-led coalition will be jeopardised if there is any repeat of "unacceptable" military action against his airforce.

Speaking after talks with French president Francois Hollande, Putin voiced his anger with Turkey - claiming the country's actions were deemed an act of betrayal.

Incidents like the destruction of our aircraft and the deaths of our servicemen... are absolutely unacceptable

The ruthless Russian leader said: "We are ready to cooperate with the coalition which is led by the United States. But of course incidents like the destruction of our aircraft and the deaths of our servicemen... are absolutely unacceptable.

"And we proceed from the position that there will be no repeat of this, otherwise we'll have no need of cooperation with anybody, any coalition, any country."

However Putin said he would order Russia's military to intensify its cooperation with French forces - including exchanging information about targets.

The Kremlin leader said he viewed the promise as part of creating a broader international "anti-terrorist" coalition by bringing together Russia and Western countries.

He said he and Hollande had "agreed how we will cooperate in the near future, on a bilateral basis and with, as a whole, the coalition led by the United States".

Putin added: "We are talking about a designation of the territories against which we can conduct strikes, and where it is better to refrain from strikes, about the exchange of information on various issues, and the coordination of our actions on, so to speak, the battlefield."

The Russian leader said he wanted to "avoid duplication and avoid strikes on those territories and groups which are themselves ready to fight terrorism".

He said: "We view this as the formation of a wide anti-terrorist coalition under the aegis of the United Nations."

It comes days after the Russian Su-24 bomber jet was blasted out of the sky by the Turkish military, for allegedly entering its airspace.

However US officials have since revealed that the flight's heat map suggested it was in Syrian airspace at the time - supporting Putin's claims.

Footage also emerged of both pilots allegedly being shot at by Syrian rebels shouting "Allah Akbar" - killing one of them.

Reffymister.... Putin NEVER said he will pull out! If you have any common sense you will see the s 300/ s400 + additional bombers + border seal plan tells you he is here to stay. He just said today in Paris that he will go even harder now that Turkey has back stabbed the anti ISIL team. Putin explained himself what he meant by not co operating with US-led coalition. This means we will not receive any flight path info from Russia , attack info and aggressive Ariel operations, no advance notice of strikes etc So mr Jake who wrote the piece showed lack of understanding in this matter. Not quality journalism and mis leading headline.

honestview.... Totally misleading headline. He hasn't threatened to withdraw his forces from fighting in Syria, he said he will not remain part of a coalition force. In other words, Russia will act unilaterally and do it's own thing there without any reference to other nations. The Russians will not withdraw, they are a significant part of the solution in the outcome

WayneJohnson.... This article is entirely false. In the first place, the United States is NOT leading the coalition. Russia took control because the USA was aiding ISIS. Russia is not going anywhere. Russia is in Syria LEGALLY. The USA, Israel, and Turkey are/were there ILLEGALLY.

Yeah, bussiness insider ran this story a few days ago.... really bad propaganda. Like , im so sure russia is gonna pull out, why else would they of set up their s400 missile defense system and armed their bombers with air to air missles. Clearly they beefed up their defenses because they plan to leave.

Get this from BroNat! Putin complains “The Afghanistan problem has not been resolved"

www.realjewnews.com/?p=1084

Um, I'm looking for some admission of Soviet guilt there too, since Putin's comrades (maybe even Putin!) raped the place for NINE YEARS not long ago at all. Anybody see one there?

“We all know why that happened. We know who decided to oust the unwanted regimes and brutally imposed their own rules.

“Where has this led them? They stirred up trouble, destroyed the countries’ statehood, set people against each other, and then ‘washed their hands,’ as we say in Russia, thus opening the way to radical activists, extremists and terrorists.” THAT'S FOR SURE, COMRADE.

Just as people always insist on believing presidential politicians for the quadrennial farce no matter how many times they get gypped that way, they have no historical memory. The masses are mentally worthless. I guess I'm the only person on earth wondering where any Russian ACKNOWLEDGEMENT of the USSR's 69-year reign of terror is. Am I crazy, or is everybody else?

DON'T nobody try this "Russia isn't the USSR" line on me, neither -- not while it's headed by a former KGB man!!!

Seems to me Russia and China are trying to move onto a new page where business can handle a nation's needs much better than having political control abroad via military force. Although I wouldn't be surprised if the ISIS cut-rate oil exports were not a factor in Russia's military deployment in Syria. Once ISIS is put down there will no longer be $20/b oil so that Russia and others can bump up price without losing market share.
